Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

So, have you ever written a novel??? Or maybe just a paper for your Bachelor's degree?? Well then ACE is something you would completely understand, right?? LOL, who wants to remember the most horrible trauma you have had as a college student?? A-Answer, C-Cite, E-Explain.... so now you know, my name may represent some kind of forgettable nightmares from English Lit... but you can now exchange that nightmare with LOVE and PUPPY FUN!!! Ace is my name, I am a sweet boy, maybe border collie/lab mix who has a way with words :) Barking that is!!! No I am not a serial barker, I am kind of a quiet guy, whose love you will see in my eyes, not in your ears :D I am such a good boy, I never want to end up on the streets like I was found, and this is where you come into the picture! I am ready for adoption! I am ready for you! I am ready to live my forever life with my forever family :) ADOPT.... DON'T SHOP!!! MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!! Story
Hi, I'm Whisky, a 3.5 yo border collie mix. I'm smart and a fast learner. I love to learn tricks and play with humans and other dogs. I live with loving parents but unfortunately, I don't like my parents' roommates. I'm shy around new people but I'm loving, energetic, and silly around my loved ones. My parents want me to have a better environment to grow and live. I hope to have a new home where my human can spend more time with me and teach me new things outside the house. I looooove exercising and cuddling with my human. My parents play fetch with me every night before bed. I would love my new human could also spare some time every day to play fetch with me too or any exercise, really. I also prefer a work-from-home or someone who can bring me to work because they can spend more time with me 🥺🤞

Story
Draven is a 6 year old border collie who loves people and is an extremely attentive companion. He is very playful. Up to date on all shots. Not destructive. He would be a wonderful running partner. Does very well in the car. We are trying to rehome him to a loving home where he can be a solo dog. He has not done well with our older boxer over the past few years and we have been unable to correct the aggression. As much as it will hurt, we hope to find a home where he can thrive. He has never shown any aggression towards people or children in any way.

Story
Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/F9pL-jaD0aM Maddie is a beautiful little girl who is about 4 months old and loves all dogs, people and is great with cats, including kittens. She loves romping around, playing with other dogs, splish-splashing in the water, and running in the snow. She found herself dumped out in the country as is the fate of hundreds of dogs in Oklahoma. Luckily she was found by someone who brought her to our vet who then reached out to us. She is the sweetest little thing and deserves a happily ever after. She is currently still in Oklahoma but can only adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport meeting locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed, on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention. Story
Momma MJ💜 is back at Hopes Haven. She was rescued by us about two years ago and came in with a litter of puppies. All puppies were adopted and after quite a few months MJ was finally adopted. Her new family now has had her for about a year and a half unfortunately they have to move and felt the move would be too stressful for her. So unfortunately mama MJ is looking for a home again. She’s a three-year-old Cattle dog/Basenji mix. She’s a happy energetic girl. Needs an active home and someone she can depend on. She’s nervous at first of new situations but comes around and is ready for fun. She’s good with other dogs and kids, cats unknown. If you can finally give MJ the home she deserves please apply at www.hopeshavenfriends.org.
