Prince lost his home and family after a house fire... the family relocated and left him behind. Neighbors were caring for him, knowing his family were unable to take him back. Prince is a 4 year old collie/shepherd mix weighing 44 pounds. Prince, since coming to Pet Search, is fully vetted- vaccinations, wormed and flea treated, neutered, 4DX tested and microchipped. He has shown to be good with female dogs at this time but has shown reactiveness to cats. He is becoming accustomed to crate training. Since coming to Pet Search we have seen him come out of his shell. Young children/toddlers and fast movements make him nervous. We are a little nervous and sad because our owner passed away and we need a new home 😢 we love each other very much much and need to stay together. Clementine (7/10/24) has recently arrived on a transport with two other dogs from the sunny island of St Thomas USVI. Clementine was one of many owned dogs belonging to an older woman who felt she could not provide the proper care. Three of her dogs came to us in the spring (Lucas, Cherry and Shiloh). Clementine is a beautiful medium size little lady, weighing around 40 pounds.Stevie’s a border collie mix with one brown eye and one blue eye. She is vaccinated, spayed, 4DX tested and microchipped. She was one of 12 dogs living in the home so she was very comfortable playing with the other dogs, but slow introductions to new dogs is always recommended. She is excellent with children, but likes to jump and nip (a herding instinct with her breed) and we are working on corrections. She is a little hesitant with men, living on the island with an older woman. She seems non reactive to cats. Zoomies in the yard is one of her favorite pastimes!
