Prince lost his home and family after a house fire... the family relocated and left him behind. Neighbors were caring for him, knowing his family were unable to take him back. Prince is a 4 year old collie/shepherd mix weighing 44 pounds. Prince, since coming to Pet Search, is fully vetted- vaccinations, wormed and flea treated, neutered, 4DX tested and microchipped. He has shown to be good with female dogs at this time but has shown reactiveness to cats. He is becoming accustomed to crate training. Since coming to Pet Search we have seen him come out of his shell. Young children/toddlers and fast movements make him nervous. Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Introducing Miss Marigold who is absolutely stunning. Her black, shiny coat is like silk to the touch. And as gorgeous as she is, she’s just as sweet. She is a 55 lb, 2 year old and her paperwork states she’s a border collie but most that have met her feel she’s a flat coated retriever. We all know one thing for sure, she’s perfect! She’s incredibly laid back, gentle and loves to carry her babies (toys) gently in her mouth and you can guarantee if someone comes to the door she’s going to bring them a baby, loving to share her joy. She’s house and crate trained ( does well for a few hours but more than that would not be plausible for this girl, she loves her people too much) She has never met a person she didn’t fall in love with. Smart and eager to please along with submissive, she’d rather you take the lead. She’s learning and doing well walking on a leash, loves to play with other pups and adores children. This little cutie is Rooster! He is fun sized at 25 lbs and is as fast as lightning! He is a cattle dog mix whose goal in life is to love and be loved! He is 5 years old and is the happiest little guy, especially when he is with his person. He hasn’t met a lap that he doesn’t like! He is full of energy, loves to run, wrestle and play with his foster sister, play with toys, and cuddle up for pets and belly rubs He hasn’t quite figured out how to coexist with the cat in his foster home but doesn’t want to hurt her.
