Sophie is an 8 year old, 60lb, spayed Collie mix. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is good with children and loves to play with other dogs. She would not do well with cats or chickens due to her prey drive. Sophie is crate and house trained and walks well on leash. She is an active, playful girl who prefers daily walks to get her energy out. She would love to snuggle with you on the couch and give hugs to everyone she meets! Sophie came into our rescue as a young puppy, she was adopted twice and had forever homes for approximately 3-1/2 years both times. Both times she was returned due to changes in the family dynamics through no fault of hers. She is looking for a REAL forever home this time - one that she can live out her remaining years with love and companionship. Dollie is a sweetie. Always close by and ready to get her head scratched. Super friendly and chill. I don't think she'd been on to many car rides so she might need some more practice. It didn't appear that she'd gone up or down many flights of stairs when we got her, but she's a pro now! Great on a leash, comes when she's called. She's part Collie and part Husky--has those gorgeous Husky eyes. Her fur also seems more Husky-like than Collie-like. No guarantees but I don't think she sheds much--not like our Collies! She gets along great with our other 2 dogs. Hasn't been around cats to my knowledge but she's very laid back, so I'd expect she'd do fine. Couldn't find a friendlier dog!  She is currently going through heartworm treatment but we are taking applications for her, for when she is finished.  Introducing 8 year old Ranger, a tricolor male rough collie. He is neutered, up to date on shots and he is healthy.   Ranger gets along with other dogs, chickens, cats, and horses. He would do better in a household with older kids or adults. He likes to resource guard his food, but is comfortable if he can eat his food separate from other household pets. Ranger had his coat shaved by his previous owner for the Texas summer. It will grow back in. Ranger is very gentle and well behaved. He is crate trained and housetrained. Vivian is a beautiful young blue Merle smooth coat female collie. She is approximately 2-3 years old and 55 lbs. Vivian is a very special girl that came from a hoarding situation of about 200 collies, Her happy place revolves around other dogs, which make her feel comfortable and confident. She loves to run and play and has a tendency to hop around like a bunny rabbit when playing! She is a very sweet girl but is not a cuddler. She is very cautious around humans and is progressing. Vivian is house trained and uses a doggie door. Vivian needs a home that is calm and relatively quiet. It is a must that she has a furry friend that will give her the comfort and confidence she needs. Her family will need patience and understanding to continue her progress.
