Sophie is an 10 year old, 70lb, spayed Collie mix. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is good with children and loves to play with other dogs. She would not do well with cats or chickens due to her prey drive. Sophie is crate and house trained and walks well on leash. She is an active, playful girl who prefers daily walks to get her energy out. She would love to snuggle with you on the couch and give hugs to everyone she meets! Sophie came into our rescue as a young puppy, she was adopted twice and had forever homes for approximately 3-1/2 years both times. Both times she was returned due to changes in the family dynamics through no fault of hers. She is looking for a REAL forever home this time - one that she can live out her remaining years with love and companionship. Meet Piper. 5.5-6 yrs old. She’s been fully vetted and is ready for adoption. Piper came from a local shelter as a stray. Her medical has been lengthy and expensive as she went through heartworm treatment and had entropian surgery for one of her eyes. That’s where they fix the eyelashes from rolling inward and scratching the eye causing it to weep from irritation. She’s all healthy and feeling great. Piper is sweet, playful and mostly obedient. She is completely housebroken. Though Piper likes to play with other dogs she needs to be in a no other dog home since she resource guards her food. She would just love having a person she can snuggle on the couch with. We had Piper DNA’d and she is 50/50 smooth collie & husky. Meet Mia and Milo. Not quite 2 yrs old, DOB 2/10/24, Milo is 53 lbs, Mia is 42 lbs., rough collie or possibly sheltie and lab mix give them the smooth collie appearance. Owner relinq due to personal hardship, these 2 sweeties are socialized, great with kids, car rides, other dogs and cats.. They are heartworm & fecal negative, altered, fully vetted, microchipped and on monthly preventative. Foster dad says: They have been the sweetest fosters we've ever gotten. They have settled down, eat well, and sleep well. We do think they are a bonded pair. They function together, they are nice to each other, and take turns being lead dog. Though they do great with other dogs they are never far from each other. He’s made great progress but is still a bit underweight and needs continued care, love, and attention to fully thrive.
