Sophie is an 10 year old, 70lb, spayed Collie mix. She is up to date on her vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is good with children and loves to play with other dogs. She would not do well with cats or chickens due to her prey drive. Sophie is crate and house trained and walks well on leash. She is an active, playful girl who prefers daily walks to get her energy out. She would love to snuggle with you on the couch and give hugs to everyone she meets! Sophie came into our rescue as a young puppy, she was adopted twice and had forever homes for approximately 3-1/2 years both times. Both times she was returned due to changes in the family dynamics through no fault of hers. She is looking for a REAL forever home this time - one that she can live out her remaining years with love and companionship. She is gentle and affectionate, no aggression observed. She appears to have had prior neglect and is still adjusting to being well cared for. Riften is partially house trained and improving. Due to significant stress and health concerns for a resident small dog, we are hoping to have Riften rehomed with a great family who can spoil her. Meet Piper. 5.5-6 yrs old. She’s been fully vetted and is ready for adoption. Piper came from a local shelter as a stray. Her medical has been lengthy and expensive as she went through heartworm treatment and had entropian surgery for one of her eyes. That’s where they fix the eyelashes from rolling inward and scratching the eye causing it to weep from irritation. She’s all healthy and feeling great. Piper is sweet, playful and mostly obedient. She is completely housebroken. Though Piper likes to play with other dogs she needs to be in a no other dog home since she resource guards her food. She would just love having a person she can snuggle on the couch with. We had Piper DNA’d and she is 50/50 smooth collie & husky. Link is a pretty low maintenance doggo who is very affectionate and protective of his people. Loves to play and gets along with our other dog. Is house broken, kennel trained and knows sit. We adopted him over a year ago and will truly miss him. We are rehoming him due to his aggression towards strangers however as it is nearly impossible to have guests in our current situation.
