Story
Lilys a great girl who loves to run and play she’s very smart and knows basic commands. She’s good with children and for the most part always has good behavior. The only reason I’m looking to re home her is because I’m 23 and just had baby and not able to bring her with us into a new home which sucks. But if someone who is looking for a great dog and can give her a home she deserves with a nice yard and some friends i know she’d truly be happy

Story
Lucy was found as a stray in a beautiful wooded neighborhood in NW Houston, likely dumped. This is unfortunately a common occurrence in this area. Lucy may be a purebred dog but we have no way to confirm this. She is a Smooth Coated Border Collie. Her age is also in question, so we are guessing she is about 5-6 years old. Lucy comes from a working breed and lives up to this reputation. She is not a dog companion. She does however like to keep all the dogs in the household in line. Lucy is a low energy dog enjoying lounging in her favorite spots on the stair landing or in front of the window where she can monitor all activity inside and outside. Other things she really enjoys are her daily walks (verbalizing her excitement), watching tv with you (and getting a back scratch), and crawling in bed in the morning to say hello. Lucy is very loving and affectionate, and would do really well as an only dog to a person or family with no small children. She does not mind children, but has a delicate back leg that should not be climbed on. She has been on a good joint supplement for this and it should be continued. Lucy is raw fed and has blossomed on this protocol. It helps her joint issue and keeps shedding from her silky coat to a minimum. We are looking for adopters that would continue this diet. She is house trained and extremely reliable. Lucy does not chew or destroy items left out. She is HW negative, spayed and up to date on her rabies vaccine. Please contact Kelly at No One's Dog Rescue to meet Lucy or for more information on this sweet girl.

Story
Meet Sir Winston. This adorable brown-eyed cutie was found wandering the streets of Tomball, Texas in August 2023. With no luck in finding past owners, he is now searching for his forever family. His foster believes Winston to be a short-haired border collie hound mix. Winston is estimated to be 3 to 5 years old and is currently an intact male at 39lbs. He has an appointment to be neutered in October 2023. Winston would be most comfortable in a home with dogs his size or larger. Cats or other small animals are not recommended at this time. Winston is friendly with all humans and will spend his time cuddling with you or chewing on a toy by your side. He appears very submissive and eager to please. Winston seems highly food motivated and has a gentle bite. He has some past flea-bite scars on his body and would love to spend the remainder of his life as an indoor dog alongside his humans. He is kennel trained and potty trained. Will you give Sir Winston a chance?

Story
Gypsy is available for local adoption or adoption and transport to another state. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. Gypsy came from a bad home. She was not being fed and was severely underweight. So the people surrendered Gypsy and her puppies to animal control to avoid animal cruelty charges. Gypsy definitely has a herding dog breed in her mix. We think Border Collie. Gypsy is around 4 years of age and weighs 70 pounds (she only weighed 35 pounds when we got her). Gypsy is a very good girl and the most obedient dog I have ever seen. She can climb a 6-foot fence, but I caught her on the first try, told her no, and she has not attempted it since. Gypsy is fairly active. She bounces on her front legs when she is excited, and she loves to run and play with her toys. She especially loves squeaky toys. Gypsy loves water and lays in the wading pool when it is hot. She gets excited about squirrels and cats on the other side of the fence. Gypsy gets along best with male dogs and doesn't like annoying small dogs. Gypsy loves human attention and is good with children. She can sit and comes when called, She is crate-trained, house-trained, and otherwise very well-behaved in the house. She could perhaps use a bit more obedience training with someone that is firm, patient, and loving. Gypsy is very sweet. She gets attached to her human and likes to lay under my desk when I work on the computer. Gypsy walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She must be in the house as a loved member of the family and would like a large yard with a 6' fence to run and play. Gypsy is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Gypsy had a light case of heartworms when we first got her. We used the slow-kill method (we are happy to explain this) and she is now negative for heartworms and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. We would really love Gypsy to have a fabulous forever home and we will consider both local and out-of-state applications. Her out-of-state adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport, and she can be transported almost anywhere within the continental United States. Gypsy is being fostered in Texas and cannot be transported until after she is adopted. Please send an email to 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this very good girl.
