You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Carlito here.  Just putting feelers out for a potential family.  I would really like one that will cuddle and hold me LOTS.  I love other dogs, but I also love to snuggle up in a lap and even be carried around.  I am a four month old border collie mix and fairly small for my age at only around 18 lbs so I am still small enough to do lots of cuddling.  Don't worry, I am expert in climbing my way onto a lap.  I will likely only get to about 35 lbs when full grown.  I do like to play too and carry a toy around quite a bit, but snuggling is my favorite thing. I like people of all ages who will love on me and give me treats.  I haven't been around cats much, but would likely adapt to living with them.  I am good about using the dog door to go outside.  I am however still young and need supervision inside.  I am a happy, sweet boy who really wants someone to give all my love to.  Please apply at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  as soon as you can.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 10, 2025, 7:28 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Greetings!!  If you’re looking for a best friend, look no further.  I’m Cheeko, I’m the tan and fun brother. My favorite thing to do is run around and play with my siblings and give kisses to my foster mom.   I am good with other most other dogs, dog savvy children, and I have been exposed to ranch animals as well. I am not quite 2 years old and I'm listed as a collie mix - probably with some husky in me, too! I weigh approximately 45 pounds. I am house trained and never have accidents when I have access to the doggy door.   Apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication (https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication)  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 2, 2025, 4:23 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Howdy partner! My name is Duchesne, but my friends call me Dutch. I’m 1.5-years-old and I'm listed as a "collie mix" Maybe Border Collie? Could be some pointer in me, too!  I am full grown at 45 pounds. I made my way from the Uintah Basin where I lived outside, and boy, do I love the indoor life now! Humans are great to have around, and I’ve learned to appreciate their company. I enjoy snuggles at bedtime, but otherwise, cuddles are on my terms for now. I get along wonderfully with other dogs, love chasing balls, and value my alone time. I am still working on learning all the good dog things, but I'm doing *amazing*. In fact, foster mom started taking me to training classes and guess what?! I just GRADUATED my "Bright Beginnings" class! That means I've gone all the way thru a 6-week course already! So now I know all kinds of things! I'm even completely potty trained and crate trained, already! I was very shy and timid when I first got here, and training has made a big difference in building my confidence. I would love to keep it up with my forever family! I haven’t lived with cats, but they don’t seem to interest me much. Now, chickens and birds? I definitely notice them, and I'm interested! I can yodel and point to let you know when I’ve spotted them! I would love a family of my own, preferably with older children (12+) since the younger ones can be a bit scary for me. A fenced yard to run in would be perfect, and if you’re an active outdoor person, that’s a huge plus. My mind needs activity! I’m still working on my leash skills, but I’m making progress. If you’re looking for a smart, adventurous, and loving companion, look no further—Duchesne, or Dutch, is your guy!  apply to meet today : @https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 18, 2025, 6:16 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Kira the Brave Hello friends! I am Kira the Brave, because I have been so brave in my search for my forever family. I am a female one-year-old shepherd mix. I’m only about 30 pounds and my foster mom says I am clever like a little fox and I look like one, too!  I get along great with other dogs and love everybody, but should probably go to a home with no kitties. I love to play chase and wrestle and have a ton of energy, so a house with a very active family or a doggy sibling would be best for me. I am kennel trained and potty trained with a doggy door and I’m working hard on my leash training. I am very cuddly and good with people and my favorite thing in the whole wide world is getting pets. If you would like to meet me, apply today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 19, 2025, 11:21 am

Story
Take a minute to get to know Nala, a 7-year-old Heeler mix, weighing in at 40 lbs. Nala is such a sweet and easygoing pup! She enjoys gentle strolls and light exploring, but she’s not the type to dash around or engage in rough play. She’s really good with the other dogs in her foster home, even stepping in to correct the more energetic ones. Ideally, she’d love to hang out with dogs more in her age range. We’re not sure how she feels about cats, though. Like many dogs adjusting to a new place, Nala had a few accidents when she first moved in. But don’t worry—she caught on quickly and now she’s doing great with her house training! Now, Nala is a bit on the heavier side; in fact, she almost doubled her weight since being in the shelter last year. Weight control may be a lifelong challenge her new family will need to keep an eye on that throughout her life. One of Nala’s favorite spots is sleeping right next to the bed on the floor. She also loves to curl up at my feet on the couch. You can tell she was really cherished in her previous home, which will make it easier for her to adjust to a new forever home where she is loved and appreciated. Nala has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Nala, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt). Story
Meet Pita, a 4-month-old, 16 lb. Heeler mix with adorable black and white spots and a cute speckled snout. He’s expected to be medium-sized when fully grown. Pita’s playful, affectionate, and incredibly smart! He loves to play with dogs of all sizes, from his much bigger Great Dane foster sister to his little mini dachshund foster brother. And when he’s not playing, he’s all about cuddles with his humans. Pita would thrive in an active home with a yard to run and explore. As with any puppy, he’s still learning the basics—potty training, chewing habits, and manners—but he’s very food-motivated and receptive to training. He’s already crate-trained and quickly learning he doesn’t need to guard his food. One of his foster family’s favorite things about Pita is how incredibly sweet he is. He loves affection and will press his face into yours for love after his naps. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and adventurous puppy, Pita is the perfect match! Pita is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and ready to find his forever home. Interested in adopting Pita?
