Allegra!  What a beautiful sounding name!  And what does it mean? And why did her foster give her the name Allegra?  Because it describes this beautiful pup so well!  Joyful, Happy, Active!!!  Our Allegra is a Collie/Lab mix who wears her short black and white coat so well that people stop just to look at her!  Allegra is around 4 months old and, although she presently weighs between 20 and 25 pounds now, she’ll mature to between 50 and 60 pounds.  She gets along well with other dogs, kids, and her foster’s cat! Angel is a sweet tricolor male collie born in March 2023.  He's a gorgeous boy who has filled out beautifully this winter and is in perfect physical condition.  When he plays with other dogs, he shows off his speed and athleticism.  Angel is alert and intelligent, and loves to play.  As a member of his little pack at his foster home, he is very happy to be the sweet, young guy who is always up for a game of tag or a little wrestle. He absolutely loves tennis balls and other toys. He also gets along with every dog he meets!  He hasn’t met a dog he doesn’t love -- young or old, large or small. Angel would be happiest if he had a canine sister or brother to romp with in a fenced-in yard, and an outdoorsy family who enjoys exploring the countryside or trails with a loyal companion.  When he is inside, he settles down nicely. He is happy to go into his puppy pen at naptime and bedtime, and never complains or makes a peep. He would be very happy if his new family provides him with a large crate or puppy pen where he can retire when things get a bit too busy At mealtime, he is polite and quietly waits his turn.  He also comes running whenever called - hoping you'll give him a robust butt scratch. This little angel doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, and he really wants to find a new home where his playfulness and spirit will be embraced, so he can start having adventures with his very own people. If you are interested in rescuing a collie, please complete this short adoption questionnaire. Vince is a sable collie boy that is about six years old, and he is quickly learning how to enjoy life!  When he came into Collie Rescue, he was about 15 lbs underweight, did not understand how to play, and wasn't really sure what steps were.  Vince now has a very healthy appetite and has filled out nicely. He loves to run and play, and has quite a bit of energy.  He'll need some leash training, since he will pull and bark when he sees other dogs on a walk.  Vince follows his foster family everywhere -- super eager to please others and be close to people who care for him.  He also loves to meet new people!  He is super-sweet, but he can also  be a bit of a spaz when he gets excited!  Vince is a great dog who deserves a wonderful home.If you are interested in rescuing a collie, please complete this short adoption questionnaire. This is Titan!  He is a young collie boy, who was born in March 2023.  Titan is a sweet boy, but he is a little hesitant with new things, shy with new people, and needs time to adjust before his nervousness dissipates.  But once he adjusts, he is great and super friendly!  He LOVES other dogs, so we would like to help him find a home with another young dog so they can play together and have fun!  Titan is a very active and playful pup - always in motion and loves to run.    He enjoys toys, but you'll have to watch him around socks and small plush toys because he thinks they are for eating.  He's learned several commands, like "sit," "down," and responding to his name.  He's housebroken and crate-trained, and is a good eater.  Ideally, he would do well in a home with older children (teenagers). Meet Pam, Sam, and Cam, our 4-month-old  Blue Heeler mixes. They weigh between 14 and 18 pounds, but we expect them to mature to around 45 pounds. They love to play with other dogs and we predict that they will even do well with cats because of their friendliness. All littermates have short coats with Pam's being black and white ticked, Sam's being brindle with white and black ticked paws and snout, and Cam's coat being white with black dots. Each pup enjoys playing with plush or rope toys and enjoys running in the grass. These three pups are full of potential, and they're ready to share their love and happiness with a forever family. Everyone meet Willow. Willow has the most beautiful chocolate coat. She is currently 4 and a half years old and weighs appx 45lbs. Willow is spayed and completely house trained. Willow is out of all the puppy stages and is just a joy to have around. She gets along with all dogs big and small. Willow pulls a bit on leash but loves walks and is a great car riding companion. This girl can’t get enough belly rubs and is usually found walking around with a toy in her mouth. Willow can be a bit timid on meeting new people but it doesn’t take much to get her to warm up. She could use someone who’s going to be patient with her when meeting new people. Once adopted Willow will travel via Rescue Vet pet transport to a location closest to you.
