Meet Atlantis! He is an incredibly cute and friendly dog! He is about 5 years old and roughly 40 pounds. He is quite alert, attentive and energetic, which is totally in line with his likely breed(s). Atlantis would be happiest and best behaved in a home where he can channel his intelligence and energy with a human who is with him most of the time (or doggy daycare) and can provide a more active lifestyle. Yes, Atlantis has energy, but he also relaxes when needed, and sleeps quietly through the night. Atlantis gets along with other dogs, but is said not to get along great with cats, critters or young children since he is a herding type breed (might chase or nip). Atlantis knows some basic commands (sit, wait, no, lay down, shake/paw, come) but he’s a little rusty and needs a new teacher. He is learning the fosters’ rules and commands very fast and walks on a leash like a champ! Atlantis is technically crate trained, but he doesn’t prefer it as he likes to be nearby. Atlantis is housetrained but had a couple pee accidents on day 1 with the new foster, none since. Atlantis does not have a tail, it was likely docked due to him being a “working breed.” Come meet Atlantis!
