Story
Brownie-Rough Collie-5 years-52 pounds! Meet Brownie! This truly special dog will melt your heart! She is a 5-year-old Rough Collie whose entire life on a farm shaped her into the soft-hearted, intuitive, and loyal dog she is today. She has a gentle and sweet disposition, so much so, she would sleep with newborn lambs to keep them warm! Brownie has the classic long, flowing double coat of a Rough Collie, which is both beautiful and functional. Like all Rough Collies, she will need regular brushing to prevent tangles and keep her coat healthy and comfortable. Seasonal shedding is normal for the breed, but consistent grooming makes it very manageable. Rough Collies are loyal, people-oriented dogs who love being part of daily life. Brownie would thrive in a home that appreciates her gentle nature, includes her in family routines and gives her daily exercise and enrichment. She has lived around other dogs and livestock. Apply to meet her at www.cchswi.org DATCP License #266742-DS

Story
Meet Tabitha! This adorable little girl has been in Wisconsin now for nearly a year :( We've learned so much about her during this time we just know the perfect home is out there for her! She prefers the company of women, and love to hang out with other dogs. Shes quite the snuggler in bed if you let her sleep with you, or she's totally fine hanging out with other dogs to snooze. She enjoys her time outdoors and does best in a home with a fenced yard. She currently is in a foster home on a farm and enjoys all things farm related! Tabitha will do best in a home with herding breed experience! She might need more than one meeting to warm up to you, but once she does, you are her friend for life! Please help us find the perfect home for Tabitha! She's one of a kind! **Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above. Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense. Story
Hello there, my new friend! My name is Jasmine. I`m sort of a shy girl, but with a little love and some patience, you`ll find out soon that I have a big heart with a lot of love to give. I do have a little too much of that excitable love to live with cats - apparently, they don`t like playing chase with me! I`m looking for a home and a new friend who can help me learn how to be brave in this big world! Sometimes kids can be one of the things that worry me, so I`m looking for a home with no small kids under 7. In the shelter, I`ve been working hard here to learn new skills, and I can`t wait to show off how smart I am. Come on down to meet me, and I`ll show you! I cannot wait to meet you! Medical History: I appear to be a healthy pup, but it`s always a good idea to set up an appointment with your vet soon after adoption so we can meet each other!Weight: ~30 lbs Adoption Fee: $200 + tax
