Story
Meet Macie – The Sweetest Hound! Macie is an absolute sweetheart with a heart full of love! She was found as a stray by her loving foster mom. She’s the ultimate cuddler and prefers to be right beside you. This loving girl adores everyone she meets, including small children, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet. Like a true hound, she has an incredible nose and a signature howl. She’s very curious about the outside world, so a secure yard or leash walks will be best for her. Macie is a dream in the car and is working on her leash manners. Her favorite things include belly rubs, snuggles, and spreading love to everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a true hound spirit, Macie is your girl! Could you be her perfect match? Story
Meet Freckles! Born in January, Freckles is an adorable Hound/Lab mix with the perfect blend of sweetness and puppy energy. True to his hound roots, you’ll often find him with his nose to the ground—sniffing out toys or sneakily stealing socks! Freckles is crate trained, house trained, and great with other dogs and cats. He enjoys playing in a fenced yard, and is happy to go on walks. He’s eager to please, food motivated, and always ready to earn a treat for being a good boy. If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion with a heart of gold (and a nose for adventure), Freckles might be the perfect fit for your family! Story
Mouse is the quiet, gentle one — a soft-spoken, mild-mannered hound with a calm, observant nature. At 2 years old, he’s the kind of dog who’s happy to be your steady sidekick, taking everything in with quiet confidence. Mouse is treat-motivated and already knows sit and down. He walks beautifully on leash and, like any true hound, enjoys taking his time to sniff and explore — completely unfazed by the commotion around him. In his foster home, Mouse has been excellent with children, very social with a 6-month-old puppy, and slept comfortably in a crate overnight. While he wasn’t particularly fond of the chickens, he was otherwise a sweet, well-behaved boy who truly just wants love.

Story
Meet Danny, a 2-year-old handsome hound with a zest for life and a nose that never stops working. Danny is always moving, always sniffing, and always ready to serenade you with a classic hound howl. He walks beautifully on leash, takes treats politely, and is far more interested in exploring the world than showing off tricks — but honestly, what do you expect? He is a hound, after all. In his foster home, Danny was excellent with children, very social with a 6-month-old puppy, and slept comfortably in a crate overnight. While he wasn’t particularly fond of the chickens, he was otherwise a sweet, well-behaved boy who truly just wants love. Come meet Danny Boy — he’s ready to follow your call home.
