Story
He needs a loving home where is the only one getting attention after many attempts over the past three years he has struggled to adjust to my toddler. It is best that he’s in a home where he can be the primary receiver of affection as for the first three years of his life that’s all he was used to.

Story
A WONDERFUL GIRL:  Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 31 lbs. Hi I’m Wanda!  I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home!  Thankfully, they took me in, and I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my very own.  I’m very excited about that, so plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I met a couple of kids at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have kids around 10 years old, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m described as a playful, super friendly, and energetic girl with a sweet personality and an adorable face to match! The volunteers also report that I’m loving and they think I may be quite the people pleaser because I enjoy being close to my humans and soaking up attention.  I was wonderfully relaxed during my bath and even leaned into my bather for extra affection.  When I want attention, I have the cutest little whine that’s sure to melt hearts.  With my smart, loving nature and happy spirit, I’m ready to be a wonderful companion. / Energy level: 5-7.   • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘stay’, ‘come’, and ‘drop it’ commands and I look forward to learning more.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I’m doing alright in my crate, but it’s not my favorite place to spend time. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule.         • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love affection and enjoy both receiving and giving it!  Spending time with the volunteers is one of my favorite things, whether we're cuddling, hanging out, or just enjoying each other's company.  I also like toys and having fun with the people around me. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 11, 2026, 7:55 am

With his short, sturdy legs, signature low-slung build, those iconic forehead wrinkles, and a perfect blend of corgi cuteness, Jackson has the charisma that is impossible to resist.   Jackson is a true pack lover at heart. He thrives with other dogs and is dreaming of a forever home with a playful canine sibling to guide him and play endlessly. He watches his furry friends closely: Once the pack gives him the official paw of approval, Jackson will happily zoom into your lap for the coziest cuddles. He’s ready for a confident doggy buddy to help him learn that every “stranger” is just a new best friend in waiting. Jackson is also cat AND chicken "friendly".   A Day in the Life of Jackson  Zoomie Adventures: This energetic pup has endless bursts of joy. He races around exploring every corner, chasing toys with puppy enthusiasm, then suddenly - plop! He’s curled up in a deep, happy nap, recharging for the next round. Cuddle Champion: When the play switch finally flips off, Jackson becomes the ultimate snuggle bug.. Bright & Eager Learner: He’s a smart, eager boy making fantastic progress on potty training and basic manners every single day. With love and consistency, he’s blossoming into a great young dog. Playful Puppy Vibes: Still very much in that mouthy, exploratory puppy phase, he’ll thrive with plenty of chew toys, positive reinforcement, and a family excited to guide his training.   Right now, sweet Jackson weighs 24 pounds. Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Sweet Timid Jack Russell/Corgi Seeks Tender-Hearted Mama Toby is an adorable young 20 lb fella with the adventurous spirit and intelligence of a Jack Russell or Corgi. He just lacks their bravery when it comes to people, especially men. Toby can warm up to a gentle and patient woman in just a day, then reward you with forever unconditional love. He’s also more than happy to share his home with dogs, as they offer company, reassurance, and play dates. Could you find a warm place in your heart and home for this special little lad? Toby's ideal home would be with somewhat active (daily walker), adult female(s), an escape-proof set-up, and experience with shy/fearful dogs. Unfortunately, he is too much of a flight risk to go to a high-traffic home or one with children. Age: 2-3 yrs Weight: 20 lbs Temperament: Good with dogs and best suited for adult, female home Training: Housetrained, Crate-trained, Walks Nicely on Leash  Vetting: Spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative Email for questions: jamie@doggieharmony.org To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $350; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.March 7, 2026, 5:36 pm

Story
A FUN, BUSY & CURIOUS FELLOW:  Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 34 lbs. Hi, my name is Hampton!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, & as much as I love the volunteers, I yearn for a family of my very own, that I can have fun & be active with!  I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience & learned a lot!  I was adopted for a few weeks, but that home didn’t work out, so I’m back with MM looking for my family.  While I wait, I’m in a great foster home! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts as well as in the off-site training program, & liked them, but I do guard my food & squeaky toys, so food, treats, & squeaky toys should be handled separately.  My foster is happy to tell you about how to manage this behavior in the home.  / I visited a temp. foster home with 4 cats, & we all agree that I should not live with cats (no cats were harmed in this discovery). / I met some nice kids around 10 years old at Mostly Mutts & did well with them, without any food or toys around.  Older children 15+ who understand my need for space when I am eating would be the best fit, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a curious & playful guy who has a very lively personality!  As affectionate as I am handsome, I have energy to spare & a big heart to share. In my foster home, I love relaxing on the couch & enjoying ear scratches from my foster dad, with plenty of happy tail wags to show my appreciation.  I should not live in an apartment environment, as there can be too much stimulation with so many people living in close proximity.  In my previous home, I did guard my mom & there was an incident shortly after I was adopted, where a stranger entered my new home & I bit them after they bent down to pet me.  In my foster home, I’ve had positive introductions with 8+ new people both at home & out on walks, & I’m eager to meet new friends.  My foster is also helping me work on being less mouthy when I get excited meeting new people & she’d be happy to show you how to maintain my good manners in my furever home. / My energy level is 6-8, so I need my family to give me regular exercise & stimulation (like a peanut butter kong or treat puzzle), so that I can be the best, calmest version of myself! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience, so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ & ‘place’ commands. I also use proper door etiquette & have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping.  I’ve made great progress with my trainer in the prison/foster program on my food & squeaky toy guarding & even learned to trade a toy for a treat, but it’s still something to be mindful of - so please ask for more details.  My guarding tendencies are exacerbated by the busy shelter environment & my training to avoid guarding behaviors has been maintained in my foster home.  My trainer will be happy to share tips to support my continued progress with guarding in my new home.  I can be playfully mouthy, & once when it was very loud & busy at the shelter, I got a bit riled up & my teeth made contact with my walker.  It also happened on a walk.  My trainer can show you how to help with this.  Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s continue my training together. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts.  In my foster home, I sleep in there all night without making a peep. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule as well as in my foster home, where I let my foster know when I need to go out, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I LOVE people, going for long hikes with the volunteers, & the car rides on the way!  One of my favorite places though is your lap, where I’ll happily hop up when invited.  I have mastered the game of fetch & I have been trained to play with two tennis balls – dropping one on command for another to be thrown.  Belly rubs?  Don’t even get me started - they’re my favorite, & I’ll flop right over to show you where to start.  I’m always ready for action, whether it’s a game of fetch, a walk, or just running off energy with you in the yard & then sitting in the shade.  Life’s a blast, & I’m here to make every moment fun! / As stated, I do NOT like anyone touching my food during mealtimes, so a bit of privacy while I’m dining, please.  ‘Party of one’.  Otherwise, I’m sure I would not be happy if I did not get enough love, attention, exercise & training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped & neutered.  I’ve started 2 medications called Fluoxetine & Trazodone to help with shelter stress.  I think I’ll be able to wean off of these once I’ve settled in my new home.  I am looking for a loving home where I will be a cherished member of the family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, & I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 11, 2026, 7:55 am
