Story
Meet Jackson Brown: The Low-Riding Cuddle King with the Biggest Heart    If you’ve ever dreamed of a little companion whose sweet, expressive eyes and irresistible face melt your heart in seconds, say hello to Jackson Brown - a charming, 5-6 month old, Terrier/Corgi mix puppy! With his short, sturdy legs, signature low-slung build, those iconic forehead wrinkles, and a perfect blend of corgi cuteness, Jackson has the charisma that is impossible to resist.   Jackson is a true pack lover at heart. He thrives with other dogs and is dreaming of a forever home with a playful canine sibling to guide him and play endlessly. He watches his furry friends closely: Once the pack gives him the official paw of approval, Jackson will happily zoom into your lap for the coziest cuddles. He’s ready for a confident doggy buddy to help him learn that every “stranger” is just a new best friend in waiting. Jackson is also cat AND chicken "friendly".   A Day in the Life of Jackson  Zoomie Adventures: This energetic pup has endless bursts of joy. He races around exploring every corner, chasing toys with puppy enthusiasm, then suddenly - plop! He’s curled up in a deep, happy nap, recharging for the next round. Cuddle Champion: When the play switch finally flips off, Jackson becomes the ultimate snuggle bug.. Bright & Eager Learner: He’s a smart, eager boy making fantastic progress on potty training and basic manners every single day. With love and consistency, he’s blossoming into a great young dog. Playful Puppy Vibes: Still very much in that mouthy, exploratory puppy phase, he’ll thrive with plenty of chew toys, positive reinforcement, and a family excited to guide his training.   Right now, sweet Jackson weighs 20 pounds. Thanks to his classic low-slung terrier-corgi build, he’s expected to mature into a perfect medium-sized companion around 45 pounds - ideal for cozy couch snuggles, gentle hikes, or zooming around the yard.   Jackson Brown isn’t just looking for a home, he’s searching for his forever family (and possibly a furry sibling) to spend his days with.    Could that be you?    An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
He needs a loving home where is the only one getting attention after many attempts over the past three years he has struggled to adjust to my toddler. It is best that he’s in a home where he can be the primary receiver of affection as for the first three years of his life that’s all he was used to.

Story
Bobby is a young Corgi/Spaniel/Basset mix. He was dumped in East Texas where my family brought him in and have loved him. We recently transplanted to Matietta GA and due to landlord limitations. He are unable to keep him. Bobby loves attention and loves yo play. He is crate trained. Bobby did suffer some previous dog to dog trauma that has made him slightly anxious when meeting new friends. But he warms up very very quickly and has always been very gentle with my kids.

Story
HANDSOME & SWEET:  Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 60 lbs. Hi, I’m Leon!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I’m so glad they brought me into the Mostly Mutts family.  I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my very own.  I think that is the best news ever, so come meet me soon!  I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  When I met dogs at Mostly Mutts, I ignored them and when they got near me, I showed my teeth, so I would like to be your only dog, please.  / Cats unknown. / I met two nice boys around 6 years old at Mostly Mutts and did well with them, so a home with kids ages 10 and up could be a good fit for me.  Let’s meet! I previously didn’t like restraint/hugs, so let’s meet with my trainer to make sure I’m alright with this.   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a friendly, sweet, calm boy and some of the volunteers even report that I’m a gentle giant.  I’m a playful boy who enjoys quietly growling as a way to tell you that I’m enjoying our playtime.  With my soft, silky fur and handsome looks, I’m sure to win you over in no time.  / Energy level: 4-6.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been pretty good on the shelter schedule as well as in the off-site training program.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like spending time with the nice volunteers and I’m sure we’ll discover lots of things we will enjoy doing together once I’m settled in my new home.  I love playing fetch!  My favorite version involves two tennis balls - when I bring one back, toss the other and watch me race after it while you scoop up the first.  It's a game I never seem to tire of!  / I’m not a fan of being restrained and the bath was not my favorite thing to do, and like all dogs, I wouldn’t be happy without enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I should wear a muzzle for my vetting as I am not fond of vetting and the restraint that comes with it.  I’m a great dog looking for a great family to love and share a great life with.  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  June 16, 2026, 11:04 am

Story
Our Zazu may not be running a kingdom like his namesake, but he definitely carries himself like he could! Also — much like his animated counterpart — his most noticeable feature is his head… which is approximately three sizes too big for his body. Zazu actually looks a little like a cartoon character, but please don't tell him we said that! Seriously. If there was ever a reason to order a DNA test just out of curiosity, this boy would be it. He’s got the head of a Malinois and the body and legs of a Corgi, which leaves us with a lot of questions and absolutely no answers. So we’ve come up with a few working theories: • If you have sheep (or ducks) that need herding — congratulations, you may have found your guy. • If you’ve always wanted a Malinois but don’t quite have the space for the full-size version — may we present the Mini-Mal™. • Or maybe he’s just a perfectly engineered 30-pound package of personality. Whatever combination created him, it works. Short little Zazu is hilarious, very smart, super social, and comes equipped with a great alert bark in case anyone forgets he’s in charge. When he met the guys for the first time, he made friends with everyone immediately — and we’re pretty sure he already believes he’s head of the class. June 8, 2026, 12:20 am

Story
Boomer and Benney are loving and well-behaved dogs. Benney is a very affection dog, he loves to lay in your lap and under the covers with you. Hopefully, someone can take both, they have been together since they were puppies, but we understand how hard it can be to take on 2 dogs.

Story
This is Maple! We acquired her from our local fire department! Maple was a stray that wandered into the fire house. One of the fireman took her in while she was being seen at the vet for getting shots and spayed. We were then lucky enough to meet her and knew she’d be perfect for our family. The vet thinks she is around 2 years old now. Maple is truly the best dog. She is super fun, very energetic, and extremely smart. She also loves to cuddle! She is great with other dogs (we put her in doggy daycare) and fantastic with young children. Unfortunately, our life is progressing fast and we aren’t able to give Maple the attention and time she truly deserves anymore. We are looking for a new home that has plenty of space for her to run around and play (she loves her toys) and owners that will give her the time and attention she deserves. This has been one of the toughest times in our life, but we love her and only want to see her enjoying life to the fullest!

Story
Meet Lily 🐾 Lily and her sister came to Castoff from a backyard breeding situation where they simply weren’t getting the care they deserved. When we got the call, we jumped in to help. This girl is now safe, loved, and slowly discovering that the world is actually a pretty nice place. Lily is now fully vetted and ready for her forever home. Breed guesses? Your guess is as good as ours. The theories range from Corgi to Chihuahua to “mystery sprinkle of everything.” What we do know for certain is that she is 100% a Certified Love Nugget. If you’ve got a little patience and a lot of heart, this sweet girl might just be your perfect match. Want to meet Lily? Fill out an adoption application and come say hello. Fair warning: she may steal your heart… and possibly your spot on the couch. 💜 Meet Lily here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ACPR/Dog
