Story
Hello, my name is Waffles McFluff. I am around 1-2 years old, and I am a male corgi mix weighing around 20 pounds.   Why should you adopt me? Well…I’m pretty perfect! I am already potty trained and crate trained, but I don’t really need a crate; I am ok being left out. I walk well on a leash, but I also love to explore my fenced yard. I get along well with other dogs, and I don't mind cats either. I would love to live with someone who is home a lot or at least have another friend to keep me company. I like smile and play but I love to relax on couch with my people.  I'm a little shy with new people but I open up once I get to know you. I like a clam environment (you know, quiet but with older kids to snuggle and no loud sounds.  Complete an adoption application at the web address below and come meet me!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Ruby Lynn is an adorable 2-year-old "low rider" with short legs and a bit of a longer body than you'd normally see with those short legs! She is absolutely adorable, super sweet, and loves to give kisses.   She definitely gets along well with other dogs ( her foster mom, has 2 dogs of her own) and all Ruby Lynn wants to do is play with them. She would do great with another dog in the house and would love a fenced backyard where she can play. She is almost house-trained, though not yet 100%. But it's no secret - you just need to take her outside frequently, and she will be there in no time.    Unfortunately, Ruby Lynn is heartworm positive as she wasn't given preventatives, but she is very low, stage 1, and following her treatment, she will be completely healthy. She is adoptable now to someone willing and able to complete the process; you will receive instruction, and support from the Angels vet team, all the way through the process!  The process is easy and she is easily worth it - not to mention you will love the time to bond with her.    She is a bit of a chowhound and loves food at any time. So,  she is a bit overweight and will need to have her food monitored. Right now she weighs about 30 pounds and should weigh about 25 pounds.   Once she is through the HW treatment, and can have unrestricted movements, I venture to say that her energy and play drive will make dropping her weight a breeze.     Thank you for considering her.  Whoever gets her will be a very lucky family.
