Story
Say hello to Otis, the short-legged, big-hearted charmer looking for his forever home! This roughly 2–3-year-old , 25 lb Corgi is a walking bundle of joy on four tiny legs. Otis brings the perfect mix of playful energy and total sweetheart vibes, he's the kind of dog who'll happily chase a toy for twenty minutes and then flop right into your lap for some pets. Otis plays well with other pups, so he'd fit right into a multi-dog household or would make a great solo pup. He is playful and good with kids, although he does have that Corgi-nipping tendency, so would recommend slightly older kids. He is also crate trained and does well overnight in a crate.  He is still working on housebreaking. Otis is looking for a family ready to match his love with belly rubs, backyard zoomies and snuggles. If you've got room in your home (and your heart) for a low-rider with a huge personality, Otis might just be your perfect match. Story
Meet Jackson: Jackson is about a 2 year old (as of August 2026) corgi / dachshund / chihuahua mix (best guess) that weighs about 15 pounds. Jackson was picked up as a stray and taken to a local high-kill animal shelter. Poor Jackson was overlooked somehow and made it to the longer term resident list that meant his time was up. Luckily our rescue heard about him and were able to find a spot! Jackson is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Jackson is a very affectionate, laid back little doggie. He can't jump in your lap, but he will climb and he's pretty good at it. If your lap isn't available, Jackson will make his home right beside you. He loves to snuggle and get his belly rubbed. When Jackson arrived to us, he was  missing most of his tail - while we don't know what the story on that is, he doesn't seem to miss it at all and it adds some character to this little cutie! Jackson gets along with other dogs in his current multi dog foster home. Jackson is currently house trained to a doggie door and may need patience while learning a new process. We would love for Jackson to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can run and play freely, but it is not a requirement. Jackson is up to date on his shots and neutered. If you are interested in an adding this little buddy into your life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application.
