Story
We call Garnet a Velcro dog because she's super affectionate. In fact, she loves being around people! She's a 5-year-old, 45-pound mix of Corgi and Terrie. She has a short and stocky build and every bit of it is filled with love! That includes walks, too! Offer her a leash and she'll be right with you as you stroll down the street! &#194&#147This girl is an absolute delight,&#194&#148 says her foster! You'll think so, too! (posted 11/19/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **November 19, 2025, 11:03 am

Story
Kona is a 5 year old purebred Corgi weighing around 30 pounds. We recently adopted her and she's a great dog, but she does not get along with our 2 dogs and for that reason we must rehome her. She would be great in a home with no dogs. She very loving, loyal, loves attention, and wants to be the center of it. She's great with my 2 kids who are 4 and 14. We hate to see her go, but it's not fair to our dogs or Kona. She would make a great dog for anyone. She is crate trained and she is housebroken, but needs to be asked to go or she will have an accident.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Wheezy is about 10-11 years old and 16lbs.  Wheezy is good with both dogs and cats. She is well-behaved in the home and can be left home without being destructive. The best news of all, she is housebroken. She is a great girl who is looking for a second chance with a family of her own. Wheezy has been vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and had a dental done where they needed to remove several of her teeth. Wheezy has recently been diagnosed with Cushing disease which is being treated with daily medication. OUR RESCUE WILL COVER THE COST OF HER MEDICATION. She is doing great with it and will make a wonderful pet for a lucky family. Story
We prefer to adopt within a 1 hour drive time from Claymont, DE19703. May go a little further for a perfect match. Poppy’s original momma surrendered her because Poppy wasn't fond of the children that came along after her. But, Poppy was a super good girl and gave warning signs and thought it was best to rehome Poppy so that Poppy could be in a stress free home. Poppy is a very good girl, and an easy girl to care for. The most ideal home for Poppy could be a single person to a large family, no kids under 13 years old. Younger would be okay too, but we are aiming more to an adult home just to be extra careful, and as an only pet. Miss Poppy is an alfa girl that really doesn't like to share her ball or her foster mom, but has occasionally enjoyed a game of chase with certain dogs. Her previous mom said she does better with larger dogs, and foster mom would add “and one she can boss around”. Poppy is 4 1/2 years old and aims to please, always checking in with eye contact while walking, is house broken and crate trained. She may chew something if the opportunity is there, so we suggest continuing to crate her when left alone. She has been groomed to short fur, but her coat is very thick and corgis shed a lot, so she will need to be brushed daily, which she deals with. She sleeps in her crate at night, and enjoys when it is her turn in the bed with foster mom. She rides well in the car and of course lovvvvves long walks, she is a little strong on the leash. Miss Poppy is spayed, UTD on rabies and distemper vaccine, heartworm and lyme test negative and on monthly preventative snd is microchipped. If you would like an application please email us at AOLanimalrescue@gmail.com We do ask for a vet reference. If this is your 1st pet we would accept a vet reference of a family member.

Story
●Rescue Story Diah was rescued from the euthanasia list at "Jeongeup City Shelter" in South Korea. Thanks to timely intervention, she was given a second chance at life and moved into a foster home, where she has been able to show her true personality in a safe and loving environment. ●Temperament & Behavior Diah is a very people-loving dog. She is comfortable even with strangers touching her and often approaches first, asking for affection. As soon as someone pets her, she happily rolls onto her back, inviting more love and belly rubs. She gets along well with other dogs and can live in a multi-dog household. While she may feel a bit overwhelmed by dogs that play very roughly, once she has time to get to know them, she plays happily with dogs of all sizes—running, playing, and engaging in gentle wrestling. Her compatibility with cats has not yet been tested. ●Walking & Daily Life At first, Diah seemed a bit timid on walks, but with consistent leash training she has learned to walk nicely while matching her handler’s pace. Loud noises or passing cars may briefly startle her, causing her to pause, but if given a moment to calmly wait, she regains confidence and continues walking, sniffing around and enjoying her surroundings. She has no food allergies, is not a picky eater, and eats well. Her shedding level is moderate, about 5 out of 10. ●Habits & Training Diah uses indoor pee pads about 80% of the time and goes potty outdoors about 20% of the time. She tolerates baths and brushing well and remains calm during grooming. She does not show separation anxiety and is comfortable staying alone. She rarely barks, only giving a short bark occasionally at the doorbell. She rides extremely well in the car with no motion sickness. When placed in a car seat, she calmly lies down, naps, watches people, or looks out the window. ●Likes & Personality Diah loves playing with toys and engaging in gentle play. She is currently living in a foster home. ●Personality (Three Words): Perfect, affectionate, and easygoing.
