Story
Xen is a 1 year old spayed female corgi mix who weighs about 40 pounds. She was surrendered when her owner was unable to provide proper housing and shelter. Xen was subject to long summers and winters outside with no protection. Now that she lives inside, she loves it! Xen appears to be potty trained, walks good on a leash, has tested ok with other dogs and cannot wait to meet her forever home. Story
Khloe is a 3 year old spayed female corgi who weighs 21 pounds. This adorable girl was rescued from living outside, but she is just so sweet. Khloe loves to be pet, held, is pretty laid back and would do best with a canine companion. She is learning to walk on a leash, but it is a work in progress and seems new to her so she may do best with a fenced in yard. Story
We got Leo from a breeder at 8 weeks old. Hes 1 year old (Dec 26th birthday). He’s very energetic, playful, and mischievous. Very healthy. My kids love him but unfortunately as a single mom, I’m not able to handle his high energy and need for attention. He barks for my attention, is very food motivated and very smart. I think he’ll be happier in a home with lots of outdoor space, and with an owner who can give him lots of exercise and time.

Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 302-312-5129 (text or call) or via email at fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permeant homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 March 27, 2024, 12:21 pm

Story
Bua Loi is being fostered in LA. She loves cats, and can be good with quiet, calm dogs. She has been around a rabbit and has done well. She is heart worm positive and is undergoing treatment that will extend until this spring. Bua Loi came to us from a monastery in Texas! She was not in good shape when she first arrived there, but they nursed her back to health and reached out to us. Bua Loi has been in her foster home for several months now. She enjoys spending time outside and loves to prance like a show horse! She also loves to lay in front of the window and take sun baths. She enjoys being petted and getting attention, but is also ok when she's left alone. And she loves to eat! Playing games where she has to sniff for her food is one of her favorite activities. Bua Loi loves cats! In her previous home at the monastery, she adored their cat and they would lay and cuddle with each other. In her current foster home, she spends some time in a room with their rabbit, and she does very well. She also enjoys when there are foster cats who let her cuddle. Bua Loi's foster home is working on helping her get used to having other dogs around, but she can be a nervous dog and would do best in a calm house with quiet or older dogs or cats, or as an only dog, and with a patient family to help her adjust. Please fill out an adoption application if you are interested in Bua Loi! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
