Story
Koko was living inn a Motel 6 with his owner and the maid that was assigned to his room watched him aggressively hit him with the end of a shot gun or some type of fire arm.  He is super sweet and loving.  The vet says he is 2 years old and we think he is about a year old.  He is active, playful and loves to play with other dogs.  He would do best with an owner who is home more than not.  He draws attention wherever he goes due to his endearing look.  He has a Corgi body and an adorable head with black and white specked ears and big eyes, one being blue.  He looks like a cartoon character that everyone is drawn to.  He takes a tiny bit to get acclimated as we think he is scared from his past but doesn't show fear.  He will make someone a very happy dog! ##2672747##

Story
💌 Dear Future Valentine, My name is Augie, and my heart is officially ready. ❤️ I’m an 8-year-old corgi mix, a happy little guy with a big love for the cozy things in life, especially soft beds, blankets, and anything cushy enough for a good nap (bonus points if it’s extra plush 😆). I might be a tiny bit shy when we first meet, but don’t let that fool you. Once I know you’re my person, I’m all in...kisses included. 😘 And fair warning: belly rubs are basically my love language. I enjoy toys now and then, but my true talents include being sweet, snuggly, and excellent at relaxing beside you. I’m past the puppy chaos and fully embracing my role as a gentle, affectionate companion, who just wants a warm spot and a kind heart to call home. 🏠 If you’re looking for a loyal Valentine who will adore you quietly, love you deeply, and happily curl up beside you, I might be your perfect match. 💘 Love, Augie 🐾 ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://iamdogrescue.org/adoption-application/ ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.
