She is a very loving and well-cared-for dog. She is sweet and affectionate. Unfortunately, I need to rehome her because my three-year-old granddaughter, who lives with me, has a severe allergy to pet hair. This has been a very hard decision.

Story
Goose is a 5 month old neutered male puppy who was said to be a Coton de Tulear. This tiny guy weighs only 7 pounds and has the biggest heart! He has been so loveable after getting a fresh haircut to remove his matted fur. He has tested well with other dogs and his family should be prepared to work on training and socialization as he grows. Do you have room in your home for this little button who had a rocky start!? Story
Skye is a tiny (9 pound) Shit Tzu with a big, blossoming spirit who is learning what it means to be a loved companion after life with a commercial breeder. Finally at 3 1/2 years Skye has discovered that she loves being outside. She enjoys walking around the yard, taking in all the smells and she has even taught herself to sit whenever you stop walking. But when she's safely in a fenced in yard her playful spirit really shines. She breaks into joyful zoomies, racing across the grass with pure happiness. She looks free-spirited- a glimpse of the carefree dog she is becoming. A yard is a definite requirement for this little girl, preferable a fenced in one. Skye easily meets and gets along with other dogs, we believe a confident canine companion would be an important part of her journey. Skye still has a few mountains to climb. Strangers can be intimidating, and she is learning that gentle hands can bring comfort instead of fear. She is learning what toys are and will play with them on her own. She hasn't quite let a human join in on her fun, but hopefully with time, that will come! We have learned that she does not like Fireworks! She enjoys car rides and will happily go for a walk or get a pup cup What Skye needs most is patience, kindness and someone willing to let her discover the world at her own pace. She hasn't learned that a lap is great spot to cuddle yet, but we do believe with time and patience she will! Her ideal home would be a calm one. where she can go outside in the yard, or for walks. Due to the need for calmness, Skye would be best suited in a home with children over 10 years old. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Story
Meet Trinket! You know those little treasures you stumble across that make you smile? That’s our Trinket. :-) Trinket (aka Trinky, Trin, Trinny, Minnie Trinny, Trinketta, the list is endless), is an adorable 2-3 year old bichon who was recently released from a breeding facility. Trinny is one of those dogs that makes your heart grow three sizes. She’s happy, insanely sweet and quietly discovering that life can actually be pretty awesome! With that said, Trin is still learning to trust people, so she needs an adopter who understands that trust isn’t built overnight. She loves her people and does the cutest little happy dance when she sees you but in the beginning that’s from a distance. Fortunately treats are a very quick way to Trinny’s heart. Trinket is much more confident with dogs than people, so having another playful, confident canine companion is a must. She thrives in the company of other dogs and is currently living with 2 bichons and 2 pitties. Her favorite thing is to zoom – zoom – zoom in the yard with her foster sibs. Trinket is what we call a flight risk. She will dash at every opportunity with an open door or fence. She startles easily and isn’t comfortable pottying on leash yet. A physically fenced in yard is a must – along with a safety plan, including baby gates, for all entryways into/out of the home. We know fences aren’t everyone’s favorite requirement, but this one isn’t negotiable. This is what’s best for Trin, period. Trinket is crate trained but she does like to voice her opinion when she’s first left alone, thankfully her little protest speeches are short-lived. If you share walls with your neighbors, it’s something to keep in mind. She hasn’t been cat tested yet but we’re happy to do that for the right applicant. We can’t imagine there’d be an issue but we can confirm. Trinket is spayed, had her teefs cleaned, UTD on everything, on preventatives and microchipped. She has a grade 2 heart murmur. It doesn’t require any treatment at this time, but your veterinarian should monitor it during her annual checkups to make sure it doesn’t progress. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend who just needs a little patience, a canine buddy and a whole lot of love, Trinket may be the little treasure you’ve been waiting for. Please visit our website, zoeshouserescue.com to apply today. *Please note: Trinket is being fostered in Levittown,PA. A separate meet and greet with potential adopters and all resident pets is required prior to final approval. Kennel License 9117 PO Box 2372 Reading, PA 19608

Story
Meet Talia 💕 a 6-year-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix with a gentle spirit and a heart that just needs time. Talia is a very shy, sensitive girl who is still learning to feel safe in the world around her. She is not a dog who seeks out attention right away in fact, she currently prefers space over physical affection and may not enjoy being pet at this time. Talia will need a patient, understanding home that respects her boundaries and allows her to come around on her own terms. While she may not be a “cuddly” dog right now, Talia finds comfort in quiet environments and consistent routines. With time, trust, and gentle encouragement, she has the potential to build meaningful bonds but her future family must be willing to go slow and celebrate the small wins. Talia is fully vaccinated, spayed, and has excellent manners for grooming. She is doing very well with housebreaking and continues to improve, though she may still have occasional accidents as she adjusts. Talia would do best in a calm, low-traffic home with patient adopters who understand shy or undersocialized dogs. She’s looking for someone who will love her for who she is right now not who they expect her to be. If you have a quiet home and a big heart for dogs who need a little extra understanding, Talia could be your girl 💗 Apply to adopt Talia here: https://www.zoeshouserescue.com/adopt Zoe’s House Rescue
