Hi! My name is Grace, and I’m an adorable 7-year-old female Bichon Frise. I weigh about 8 lbs and am thrilled to be looking for my forever home! I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility, where I lived in harsh conditions. Despite my rough start, I’m sweet, loving, and ready to give my new family all my affection.  I am blind in one eye and limited vision in the other eye. I’m looking for a family who can offer me plenty of love and care, and I’d thrive in a home where I can get the attention and warmth I deserve. My adoption fee is $1,495 and includes: Spay/neuter DA2PP vaccinations Rabies and Bordetella shots Deworming Heartworm test Microchip Boarding fees Health certificate Airline transport costs A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own or purchase an AirTag from us. Please note that we cannot guarantee exact age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the lives of other dogs in need of rescue and medical care. Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The adoption fee is tax-deductible and goes directly toward helping more dogs like me find their forever homes. Ready to adopt me? Please email admin@gingerspetrescue.org for an adoption application.March 7, 2026, 8:59 pm

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Pippi from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 3 year old female Bichon Frise.  I am about 15 lbs. and hoping to find a forever home.  I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea.  I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in.  I fought to survive every day and was so badly neglected.  Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,795 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  We do not guarantee the breed and age of the dogs.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.  Please e-mail at  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application.     March 7, 2026, 8:59 pm

Story
Meet Bada - Currently in Vancouver   Name: Bada Age: 2 years Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Bichon Frise Color: White Weight: 4 kg Height (shoulder): 27 cm   Rescue Story Bada was rescued from a municipal shelter in Korea where he was at risk of euthanasia.   Social with People Bada is very affectionate and people-oriented. He happily approaches both familiar and new people, enjoys being petted, and often leans in for attention. He tends to bond closely and may “choose his person,” but remains friendly with everyone. He is comfortable being picked up (including being held under his belly). While he is generally gentle, he may occasionally react if brushing is uncomfortable. He has not met children under 13, but given his loving nature, we believe he could do well with proper introductions.   Social with Dogs Bada will greet unfamiliar dogs but doesn’t actively seek play. Occasionally, he may show mounting behavior with certain dogs. He can feel intimidated by larger or high-energy dogs and tends to prefer dogs of similar or smaller size. He avoids conflict even if provoked and is not particularly dependent on other dogs.   Cats No direct experience with cats, but testing can be arranged.   Energy Level Moderate energy. Bada enjoys outdoor activities but settles down nicely and rests calmly after exercise.   Additional Notes   Does not guard food from people or other dogs Mild separation anxiety: may bark initially when left alone, but settles with time Not overly loud; tends to quiet down once he gives up calling for attention Very people-oriented — would do best in a home where someone is around often May bark to express himself when alone, but is generally quiet when with people Crate: may bark at first, then settles Currently mostly outdoor potty trained   Ideal Home Bada would thrive in a home that can provide companionship and stability. He would do especially well with someone who is home frequently and can continue supporting his adjustment with patience and structure. Story
Floki was adopted by our adult daughter in Virginia some 10 years ago, and had been abused at the time. Since she relocated to Seattle, he has become a lovable companion for her, but she has recently had changes in her personal life that result in her having to move to a location that will not allow pets. Floki lived with us for some time before, and is now living here, and is a joy to have. I walk him three times a day, just arounjd the block, and he really is a joy. However my wife and i are 79, and we already have our own pets, and we just can't really provide Floki with the life he deserves. He likes people, other dogs (if they are not too aggressive), and kids, but due to his size, he is always a bit skittish at first. However his has been a great companion for me, and for our other pets. He is not that young, but we want to find a good home for him to spend his remaining years. He is very healthy and fun to be with. if you are looking for that kind of "friend," contact us.

Story
We need to find Floki a home where he will be able to be a companion to someone. He's a lovable and funny little guy, but at my age, I just don't have the energy to walk him or exercise him even the little that he deserves.. :Plus we recently lost a much loved dog who lived with us for twelve years, and I just can't forget him. Floki deserves a home where he is the focus, not a replacement. So if you think he might be worth your time, please contact me.
