A tiny, 15–20 pound short-stack (we’re guessing a dachshund mix) covered head to toe in bite wounds—likely the result of a brutal coyote attack. Cowboy had clearly fought with everything he had to survive. And somehow, even while in excruciating pain, he was still wagging his tail and giving kisses to the vet techs trying to save him.
