Story
Bugle was amongst a group of strays I saw in the neighborhood in July of 2024. He found his way into the yard to play with the German Shepherd [of my previous landlord] who brought him to me, and we've been together since. He's a great dog, although between fatherhood, being a full-time student, and long commutes/ hours, adequate care for him is difficult. He loves playing and gets excited (i.e. jumps to say 'hi' to everyone) to meet new people and dogs. He's never bitten anyone, although he does like to keep his mouth busy, which has been tended by pigs ears treats, brain games (with treats), and other medium-bite treats. He has up-to-date shot records and active flea-prevention. He has learned how to 'sit', 'stay', jump 'up' (usually into the car), get 'down', started learning fetch, and knows 'no' when he needs correction. I am unable to care for him as he deserves, and I would love to re-home him with a family that already has another dog as his companion.

Mr O’Malley came to us from a family member that has had him since he was a puppy , she loves him very much but due to circumstances out of her control, she asked us to take him. He is a very sweet, playful, loving boy that wants to be where you are, and will need a few days to settle in. He is good with older children and other dogs, actually a playmate for him would be best. He loves to go for walks and play with toys. He is potty trained with a doggie door and potty pads. Two dachshund mixes - Gracie (F) is 12 years and is the mother of Beau (M) who is 6 years old (mother and son). Both are fixed And they love to play fetch. And love cuddling on the couch with their human. I had hoped to adopt them, but they are not working out for the way my household functions. Beau is more bonded to her, she is not bonded to him The family members in my household basically live in their rooms and come downstairs for food, drinks, and pass through conversation with me. The frequent coming and going throughout the day, creates a situation in which the dogs are increasingly barking growling If a person visits for a longer period (vs passing through), the dogs do settle nicely and accept pets and love. We understand training may resolve this, but there is no interest of my family to do so. This is 100% on us since thisbos pur first time havingndogs. The foster I got them from is unable to take them back. I am trying to not bring them to a shelter.
