A tiny, 15–20 pound short-stack (we’re guessing a dachshund mix) covered head to toe in bite wounds—likely the result of a brutal coyote attack. Cowboy had clearly fought with everything he had to survive. And somehow, even while in excruciating pain, he was still wagging his tail and giving kisses to the vet techs trying to save him. He had every reason to give up. But he didn’t. Thanks to the Good Samaritan who found him and the compassionate team who called us instead of giving up hope, Cowboy got his second chance. She is extremely friendly, gets along with other dogs and so fun to watch her prance around with her longer legs and thin muzzle. She is smaller in person than the pictures which are enlarged look.
