Story
Benny was born mid November 2024. He's super cute and silly and sweet. Mom is a Dachshund and Dad is a terrier mix who is taller but still would be considered small. He is going to stay on the short side and he is long like a Dachshund. Benny has some of that cute terrier wiry hair but he's still soft. Benny is in a foster home with other dogs both big and small. He's also around young kids and doing great with them. Unknown around cats but would not anticipate any issues. He has gotten very comfortable with his foster family and a little shy/fearful with new people, so he will need an adopter who is willing to give him a little time to adjust and settle in. We do offer a trial adoption so that you can be certain he is a good fit before you adopt. He has learned a lot of the puppy things, such as sit, and leash walking. He is doing well with his house training, but does still have the occasional accident. He is still a puppy and sometimes chews things he shouldn't. He is being crate trained. He would probably do better in a home with another dog but we're open to him being in a single dog home. Can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $500 includes spay/neuter, DAPP vaccines, microchip, access to training videos. You must complete an application before we are able to accommodate any request for a meet and greet. Please apply here to adopt: Adoption Application or to foster apply here: Foster Application Thank you!

Story
Hey There Future Family!! My name is Savannah and I am a beautiful white chiweenie girl. I and my sweet funny sister Sierra are available for you to adopt together. We were born in rescue on 12.12,18, where Dad was there with Mom. Rescue trapped Mom and Dad in the high desert, they were dumped and almost starved to death and completely terrified of people. They look just like my sister and I and are still in rescue too and still learning social skills.and will be available for adoption one day. I and Sierra have learned to trust and be loved by humans, but still very shy. We think that my sweet sister may be the equivalent to autistic, but she doesn't know any different, she is just the happiest girl, runs and plays and acts like a nut, we have a great time together and we like to cuddle at bedtime. I watch over her so she doesn't get into trouble. Rescue said its time for a very special family to take us under their wings and love us, and teach us that people can be kind and patient. We are peepad trained, doggie door trained and are still learning to walk on a leash. We are friendly but timid/shy and we LOVE Treats!! We are fully vaccinated, spayed, and have a prepaid international microchip so you can take us on vacation with you to other countries!! :D If you are an amazing doggie family who gives the underdogs a chance at a loving home, please complete the application process so our rescuers can make plans for you to meet us. Until then - Happy Tails and LOVE from Savannah

Hey There Future Family!! My name is SIERRA and I am a beautiful white chiweenie girl. I and my sweet sister Savannah are available for you to adopt together. They look just like my sister and I and are still in rescue too and still learning social skills.and will be available for adoption one day. I and Savannah have learned to trust and be loved by humans, but I am even more shy than my sister. I am very loved here in rescue, they tell me I am a special girl and say the word 'autistic', Rescue mom says a special pup who is pawtistic 😁 I dont know what that is, but I feel like I am just a normal dog who loves life and I dont know any different, I am a good girl, I enjoy running and they say I hop like a bunny when I run, thats funny. I like to chase the dogs when they chase the ball, and I like to step in the kibble bowl to find just the right piece of kibble that is yummy for me. I am told I am silly, but I am just happy, we have a great time together and we like to cuddle at bedtime. My sister stays close to me and watches over me, I like to know where she is most times, she doesn't want me to get into trouble. Story
Say hello to Merry, a joyful little bundle of love and energy! This one-year-old mixed breed cutie weighs just over 20 pounds and is ready to steal your heart. Merry may have started out a bit shy in her foster home, but her sweet, curious personality has blossomed beautifully. She’s full of puppy wonder and loves to explore the world around her—sometimes a little too much! Like any young pup, she's still learning what’s a toy and what’s not, but she’s making great progress with gentle guidance and structure. She’s a smart cookie who already knows “sit” and “paw” and is housetrained, too! With her eager-to-please attitude and love for treats, she’s picking up new skills quickly. Her athletic build and sharp mind would make her a natural at agility or other fun activities. Merry currently shares her home with another dog and loves playing and snuggling with her foster sibling. While she can get a little overexcited when meeting new dogs, she does great with slow, calm introductions—and once she warms up, she’s all in! When it comes to people, Merry is a total lovebug. She’ll be your instant best friend, showering you with kisses, cuddles, and tail wags galore. She’s the perfect mix of playful and affectionate and is so ready to find her forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and loving companion to grow with, Merry is your girl. Submit your application today and let the adventures begin!
