Incoming…..Puppies! We’re partnering with Play Dog Play in Tallahassee, Florida to help young dog lovers jumpstart their future canine training careers! We currently have NINE adorable puppies attending a two month stay at the training facility. During their stay, they’ll attend a two-week puppy training camp! These puppies are from 3 different litters and are all roughly 3-4 months old! During their extended stay, they’ll work on: Potty & kennel training Leash manners Socialization With guidance from Junior Trainers, they’ll also begin: Basic obedience Play skills (ball & tug) And then move to tricks & agility training! Pre-adoption is now open! Please visit our website at playk9rescue.org Once training wraps up at the end of June, the puppies will return to Bradenton and be ready to join their forever homes.

Hello- my name is Hershey. My family and I found ourselves turned into a rural animal services. Thankfully, Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue was able to make room to take us in and help us get the medical and general care we needed so we could start looking for new families. I am estimated at 3yrs of age, last weighed in at around 17 lbs and look to be a chihuahua- daschund mix- best guess. I am a little shy and reserved at first, but become very friendly once we know each other better. I walk well on leash and get along well with other small dogs; bigger dogs scare me a little tho. I am more of a couch potato type and would probably be great for someone retired and looking for a companion.My $450 adoption fee includes vet check, up-to-date vaccinations, spay, heartworm test (negative), microchip and deworming.
