Woody is a 5 year old buddy. I have been his owner since day one. He is a go with the flow type of dog that loves car rides, walks, and blankets. His personality is confident and funny. Woody knows how to sit and is crate trained. Unfortunately, I do not spend enough time with him due to long shifts, work schedules (firefighter), and his daycare costs while I am working have become too much. . His favorite place will be on the couch next to you and will sleep for hours after a day at the beach. My hopes are to rehome him to a person or family that has plenty of time to stay interacted with him. i promise you he will make you laugh....

1 year old 19 pound dachshund mix boy  Super sweet and friendly  Well behaved and happy  Good with other dogs and all people, but a high energy kids running to and fro house is a little much for him.  Needs some work to learn to walk on a leash better  Good potty skills  Loves to be around people  Zenith cane to us from a local shelter after being hit by a car. His pelvis was broken and he had surgery to fix it up. Hi, I’m Emma! 🐾If you’re looking for the sweetest little shadow to follow you around and love everyone you know, I might just be your girl. I absolutely adore people and get so excited whenever I get to meet someone new. Whether you’re a grown-up, a kid, another dog, or even a cat, I’m happy to say hello and make a new friend.One of my favorite things in the world is being outside. I love playing in the yard, soaking up the sunshine, and having fun with kids and other dogs. But I’m just as happy soaking up attention and cuddles from my humans. Honestly, the more love the better—I’m a big fan of being part of the family. 💕I’m a very well-mannered lady. I’m house-broken, crate-trained, and I’ve even had free roam of the house in my previous home—and I did great! I’m gentle, friendly with everyone, and I try my best to be on my best behavior wherever I go. I’m also a superstar at the vet and for grooming. Baths, nail trims, vet visits… no problem for me!I do have a couple of small health things that my future family should know about. I take medication for a fatty liver and a heart murmur, and I will eventually need a dental. My previous vet was a little cautious about sedation because of my murmur, but your vet will be able to help guide you and make the best plan for me. I promise I’m worth the extra care. ❤️The only thing that really scares me is fireworks—they’re just so loud! During those times I just like a cozy, safe place and someone nearby to remind me everything’s okay.What I really want most is a loving home where I can be part of the family, play outside, make friends, and give you all the love I have to offer. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate, well-behaved companion who will greet you like you’re the best thing ever (because you are), I think we might be perfect for each other.Love,Emma 🐶Requirements: Martingale collar; Medications for fatty liver and heart murmur; dental needsAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home.
