NAME:  Buddy  BREED:  Dachshund mix SEX: Male COLOR:  Merle AGE:  3 yrs as of Oct 2025 WEIGHT:  15 lbs FOSTERED BY: LOCATED IN: NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Meet Buddy!  This little survivor has been through a lot, but his spirit and sweetness shine brighter than ever. Buddy is about 3 years old and weighs 15 pounds — the perfect small-to-medium size for cuddles and companionship. He came to us as a medical rescue from animal services with a serious wound on his neck, along with evidence of an old broken front leg and pelvis. Thanks to lots of love and care, Buddy has made an amazing recovery and is ready for his happily ever after!  Buddy gets along great with other dogs and loves making new canine friends. He’s especially treat motivated — which makes training (and winning his heart) extra easy. After everything he’s overcome, this sweet boy deserves a family that will cherish him for the rest of his life. Could that be you?
