Story
Honey Bunch is a bouncy little girl who loves attention.  Her and her brother, Norman, were found outside on their own too scared to come to anyone.  Luckily, they were caught just before the snowstorm hit.  They both love all people.  They are crate trained but will do some cute little howls when they want out or hear a siren.  They are great little dogs looking for a forever home together.  They are too bonded to separate.   ##2642011##

Story
Lady & Judy are two precious 12-year-old girls who came to us together after their beloved owner had to move into assisted living. These sweet seniors have clearly known a lifetime of love, and it shows in their gentle manners and affectionate personalities. They may be older, but their hearts are full and ready to love again. Both Lady, a dachshund mix, and Judy, a chihuahua, are incredibly sweet and loving. Lady is usually the first to toddle over for extra love and cuddles, happily soaking up every bit of attention you’ll give her. Judy is just as affectionate in her own quiet way, enjoying companionship and gentle affection. While they arrived together and share a comforting bond, both Lady and Judy would be perfectly content transitioning into new homes on their own. Each would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, loving senior dog who still has so much affection to give. 💕🐾

Story
Meet Winston 🖤🐾 Winston is a small, black, long-haired dachshund mix with a BIG personality and an even bigger love for people. This little guy truly wants to be wherever everyone else is — if you’re moving rooms, Winston is right behind you. He adores kids, has gotten along well with other dogs, and would most likely be just fine with cats too. Winston is the definition of a social butterfly in a compact body. True to his dachshund roots, Winston loves to talk — he’ll happily share his thoughts, opinions, and daily commentary with you, especially if it means getting attention or joining the fun. He’s also got the practical stuff down: house trained and crate trained, making him an easy, well-mannered addition to a home. If you’re looking for a small dog with a huge heart, a lot to say, and an unwavering desire to be part of your world, Winston is ready to claim his spot by your side (and probably on your couch). 🖤

Story
Meet Ziggy! 🐾Ziggy is a young Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who was found running the countryside with two other dogs. He’s now safe and thriving in a loving foster home while he waits for his forever family.Ziggy is a true puppy—full of energy, curiosity, and personality! He absolutely loves attention and affection and is happiest when he’s playing with his toys or soaking up love from his people. He does well with other dogs and would enjoy a home with a playful canine friend.Like many puppies, Ziggy is still working on his potty training. His foster has been keeping him on a schedule, but he’s being a bit stubborn, so he’ll need a patient, consistent adopter who understands that puppies take time and guidance. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate little guy who will keep you entertained and shower you with love, Ziggy could be your perfect match. 💙If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application.
