Introducing this elegant lady! Hi, my name is Precious. I am an adorable miniature Dachshund and I have been deeply loved my entire life but sadly my owner passed away and I had no where to go. Lucky for me I was brought into a loving foster home. I am 13 years old and mostly blind, but don’t let that turn you away, I have so much life and love to give! I am still spunky and love following my foster mom into every room! I am fantastic with my foster siblings, I’m quite in my crate, and I love a good nap! I know there is a loving home out there for me, that will see past my age and want to open up their couch for a little couch potato.  Apply and adopt me today!! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Cleo will need to be the only dog in your home. She will need to be given time to adapt to her new surroundings and guided with a gentle, loving hand. She is a sweet girl that has had a rough start. UPDATE: Cleo is making great strides in her socialization. She is wagging her tail more and is allowing people to pet her. She is much more relaxed when people come up to her run!
