Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com Evie is a female 8 mos 20 lb Chiweenie (Chi mix and Dachshund) DOB 18 Nov 2021. She will be probably 10 to 20 lbs as an adult (mom is 30 lbs). She is a energetic pup that loves doggie blankets, toys, dog beds and playing with litter mates. She will be a great companion for an active family with a securely fenced yard, polite/ calm children (over 12 years old) and another energetic/submissive dog (Evie is pretty bossy). Small mixed breed experience is recommended. She is an indoor dog. She likes walks and car rides. She would enjoy dog training classes. No apartments!

Story
Currently fostered in Texas Daisy aka Daisy May Apx 2 years old and a long low 17 pounds. Chiweenie. Daisy is a bit of a nervous nelly but very sweet and loving. She is very scared of men and nervous in the car, she gets car sick, so she does not want to be a passenger princess. We can send her home with some Car sickness medicine to help with her transition. I do think in time and maybe some car rides to go get things like ice cream or pup cups she would do better in the car. When we first got her, she was very scared to walk on leash and harness, and it only took her a couple days to start to like walking with us in a familiar area. She just needs some confidence building and socializing. Daisy is never aggressive. She is just a bit of a scaredy-cat. Daisy is great with well mannered kids, cats and dogs. She has good potty manners here at the rescue and is not barky. We think it would be best that she is in a house instead of an apartment.
