Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Bella 6 mos, spayed female, 15 lbs Dachshund mix LIKES: Toys and chews, playing with other dogs, cuddles, belly rubs, and being with her person DISLIKES: Cats (she has improved and with training may do okay with a confident cat), being left alone, zucchini (deathly afraid haha) PERSONALITY TRAITS: This cutie puppy will steal your heart with her big floppy ears, playful energy, and her love of stuffies. She is very loyal and attaches to her people quickly once she feels safe. Bella is an angel on leash and a joy to take on walks! A fast learner, she will flourish with a some training. POTTY TRAINING STATUS: She has a bladder of steel for a puppy and has not had ANY accidents. She knows the cue word “go potty” when let outside. Took her about 2 weeks but she figured out the doggy door in her foster home and now loves the freedom of going in and out. CRATE TRAINING STATUS: When someone is in the room, she’s fine to chew or play with a toy. When left alone in the crate, she gets very upset, but settles after a while. EXTRAS/MISC: Bella has had a rough start to her short life and just wants to find her forever family who will give her lots of love. It takes her a little time to warm up to new people but once she decides to love you, she’ll be your best friend. She would do best in a home with a large yard as she LOVES to run fast, and would prefer another playful dog sibling that’s her size or bigger. She does have some strong separation anxiety and would love someone who was home more often, but with training and routine her foster parents think she will settle into being alone. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Pickles! 4 months, spayed female, 14 lbs Minpin mix She is so stinking smart!! This dog would make an amazing agility prospect. She also uses her nose and would do great with scent sports. With her smarts and energy level, she will need direction and stimulation. She is under six months old and she can sit and lay down on command! She is working on recall in her foster home too! LIKES: Toys! Balls, stuffies, your socks! She likes to carry them around, make little piles and bury them under unsuspecting blankets. Chasing things she’ll chase a ball, a toy, we’re working on bringing the toy back so we can keep playing. She has not shown an interest in cats, she seems curious but seems to know better than to approach. She does good on a leash but still needs a little bit of work on her manners. She is 90% House trained accidents are only when she isn’t taken outside on time. She enjoys riding in the car, going for walks, and chasing a giant cat toy around the backyard. DISLIKES: Loud noises and strangers. Meeting new people is a struggle, but her foster is working on helping her with her bravery in this department. She does great with small dogs and is much more fearful of large dogs. She does not like to be left alone. She does OK in a crate for short periods, but quickly gets restless and bored. She does not like to be picked up, will tolerate it from a trusted person. Otherwise, she is very wiggly and surprisingly strong. To further inquire about PICKLES, submit an application. https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/ Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how PICKLES will mesh with your lifestyle. Story
Mama Kay2 years, spayed female, 50 lbsPyrenees, Bassett Hound, Cattle Dog mix Mama Kay has raised her pups (Alpha Guardian litter) and this farm dog is now ready to find her forever home. She is the sweetest girl and loves all the people and pets. She is true to her breeding, and is a fantastic alarm for intruders. She is medium energy but loves to play and romp with an active dog similar in size in her foster home. LIKES: Barking like it's her job (it is); chewing bones, tough chews, etc. Sleeping on soft beds and cushions or cool floors. DISLIKES: Listening to requests to stop barking. TRAITS: Friendly with everyone, she takes her role as intruder deterrent seriously. But she would probably welcome a stranger into the house and let them rub her belly. She loves walks and opportunities to sniff and explore new places and things. She likes being outside and resting at her sentry position. POTTY TRAINING: She does best with regular opportunities to go outside. She signals and stands by the door if inside. CRATE TRAINING: She has been putting herself in a crate with a cushy dog bed to rest while at her foster home, but she resists bring put in a crate when she knows she will be closed in sometimes. She doesn't howl or bark when in a crate in general though. Use of a crate when she is unsupervised for an extended period is recommended because she is smart. Overall Mama Kay is a great dog and joy to have around. We want to find her a home where her skills are appreciated and where she can be her best self. No apartments or homes without yards, or homes in densely populated neighborhoods. She barks at cats but wouldn't hurt one. To further inquire about MAMA KAY, submit an application. https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/ Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how MAMA KAY will mesh with your lifestyle.
