Story
Meet Hilda! She came to us with her ridgeback bestie, Donna from Los Angeles at the beginning of April.Hilda & Donna are a bonded pair and will only be adopted out together #bettertogether Hilda is one easy peasy laidback lil lady! She has done well with everyone she meets, including kiddos and other dogs. She isn't fussy about much and loves spending time outside & going for walks. Between her & Donna, Hilda is definitely the more independent, adventurous one. Her mouth was in pretty rough shape when we got her, but she has since had an in-depth cleaning with a few extractions and now has a clean bill of health from our vet Hilda would do great in a home with...Cats : Yep! Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : Yep! She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. To be considered for Hilda & Donna, submit an adoption application on our website! Story
Mama Lotties 3 puppies were born on 4/14, and will not be ready for adoption until they are 9-10 weeks old. While we are currently accepting early applications for Lottie and her pups, please note that we won't begin reviewing applications until 6/12. Lottie snuck out from her previous home, so we don't have any daddy details to share! But, we know that Mama is a purebred miniature Dachshund. Their adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, and age-appropriate vaccines. To be considered for one of Lotties pups, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates!   ##1736371##

Story
Grim is listed with his top 2 breeds but these only make up a fraction of him. We got a DNA test and he came back as a 15 breed mix! He looks like a terrier more than anything. Grim is an awesome dog with lots of love to give. He's an expert cuddler and loves to play. He'll run circles around other dogs at the dog park and will keep fetching until your arm hurts. He gets along with our cat and other dog great and has been fine with friends pets after an introduction. We love the little dude and it pains us to rehome him. The only issue is that he is leash reactive and we live in an apartment where we have to walk him 3 times a day. This makes it hard because he barks when people walk by and pulls hard when we pass another dog, cat, or squirrel outside. He just explodes when theres something to bark at like the Tasmanian devil in loony toons. It comes off as aggressive but he's never actually gotten in a fight with another dog. He would be the perfect dog for someone with a yard.

Story
Meet Tina! Tina came us to as an owner surrender becaue her previous owner could no longer provide her with proper care. Tina was quite overweight when she first arrived, but she's been getting hwr steps in and dropping some lbs! She is a super friendly, spry senior gal whos got plenty of years left to enjoy with a loving family of her own. Tina was introduced to cats and a young kiddo and did just fine with both. She has also been bunking up with a couple other dogs and has done great with. She can be a little reactive to other dogs through a barrier, but when introduced propery she does just fine and could most definetley live with a k9 bud. Tine has a smile that lights up any room she's in, and a personality that just makes ya feel happy to be around. We know Tina is going to make an awesome companion to a very lucky human(s). Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Tinas forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website!     ##1716604##

Disclaimer: Juan is located in Texas. Once adopted, he can be transported. Transport cost is $230. Juan is a little cutie (small in size, big in attitude). We aren't sure what breed he is, just 100% cute. He is learning to trust people. When he is restrained, he thinks he is going to be hurt. His foster mom is showing him that he can trust and what it means to be loved. He gets along great with other dogs. We aren't sure about cats, but can cat test him upon request.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41
