Story
I love this dog so much. She was used to breed and I got her at 3. She unfortunately does not like men. She has nipped my husband now several times and really does not like our senior German shepherd. We have a toddler son and it is just becoming clear that managing these behavioral issues is not something worth the risk to our family or her. She is very anxious and we do medicate her anxiety. Katie has been trained with positive training and is e-collar trained. She knows many commands and is honestly an amazing little potato, snuggle bug. She loves stinky things, treats and sleep. I can’t write all the wonderful things and quarks about her or it will make me cry and ruin my resolve to find her a better home than the one I can provide. She’s a lazy girl who’s afraid of men and would THRIVE in a home with a mama all to herself. She may take a moment to warm but this girl deserves to be in a home where everyone loves her and can provide the structure and the quiet she needs.

She will bond with her new family but will need help with people she doesn’t know coming into her home. Have you always wanted an English Cream LH well here she is but you have to work at it. Sadly, due to poor dental care she lost 18 teeth including her top canines. But once healed she’ll be able to eat hard kibble. Eve would benefit from having another adult, small, well socialized dog in the home to help her adjust. She is a beautiful and smart little girl! Our must haves for her are: • A fenced in yard • Another small adult dog well socialized • Someone that can be home more than not • No apartment, high rises or condos, dachshund like to bark If we you can give Eve that home she deserves than please apply to adopt. ============== Information for All Dogs/Adopters ============== AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund’s back or get bitten. If you have questions about this dog, please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed on the bio form. They have the most up-to-date information concerning the dog and would be happy to answer any questions about the animal. We cannot adopt into CT, RI, NH, ME, or MA due to strict laws regarding importation of dogs into those states. If you have any issue with this, you will need to take this up with your legislatures. To understand the adoption process through AADR, please review the Adoption Information on our home page. Transportation options are outlined on that page in Step 3. Click this link to apply: https://www.allamericandachshundrescue.org/apply, it will take you to the application form. Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers who will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or Midwest. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. Please look for dogs on your coast.

Story
Hello Olive Oyl Here! The world is my Oyster and I want my own Human to share it with! Is that you? I am a Dachshund Mix I am 4 years young I weigh in at 13 Pounds My gorgeous eyes will draw you in, my hugs and kisses will keep you there. I am what they call a very loyal and loving young Lady. My Manners are impeccable. My Foster Mom can take me anywhere without having to worry about my behavior. I might be a little shy at first, but let me tell you that is an act as I am simply sizing you up! 😊 I lived in a Condo my entire life so I am an expert Leah Potty Walker! I LOVE walks, long walks and then cuddles. Watching birds and the neighbors from a window seat is one of my favorite past times. Do you have a Bay Window? That would be a great start! I am perfect with cats and with other dogs. I do like my food, and I am fed separated from my foster sibling so I won’t steal everyone’s food 😊 I would not be offended by being the only child in the home by the way! That way I get all the love! I am being fostered in Greer, SC but I can pack a suitcase and move. You will need to fill out an application and then we can set up a meet and greet! 😊 If you meet the above qualifications and you think you can be my perfect home, please continue reading----Do not send an e-mail unless you have read all the way to the bottom of this Page 1. Story
This dog's bio is coming soon! All About Animals Rescue and Transport is a 501c3 registered nonprofit based in Conway, South Carolina. We rescue dogs from euthanasia lists and overcrowded shelters, as well as take in strays, surrenders, litters of puppies and nursing moms, and the cases that get so often overlooked. We are a foster based rescue, so all of our dogs are in foster homes in the Myrtle Beach area. When you apply for one of our dogs, if approved, you will be contacted by the foster for a meet and greet. We also hold adoption events to meet more of our pups at once! All adoptions begin with an application :https://linktr.ee/aaart1082 Adoption fees include age appropriate vaccines, microchip, deworming, and spay/neuter (scheduled if too young.). While we do adopt out of state, all of our dogs are in foster homes in the Myrtle Beach area. We require in person meet and greets and do not provide transport. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Ronnie is a lovable senior with plenty of pep left in his step! At just 7–8 years old and a slightly chunky 16 pounds, he’s the perfect little companion with a fun, goofy personality. He’ll make you laugh with his silly antics, then happily crash out for a cozy nap right after. Ronnie came to us from animal control and is ready for a fresh start with a family to call his own. He’s a sweet soul who may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but it doesn’t take long for his warm, affectionate nature to shine through. He’s both (respectful kids) kid-friendly and dog-friendly, making him a wonderful addition to many types of homes. Ronnie is also house-trained and enjoys being part of the daily routine. Ronnie does have dry eye in one eye and requires a simple prescription medication, but he handles it like a champ and doesn’t let it slow him down one bit. If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing companion with a playful spark and a heart of gold, Ronnie might just be your perfect match.
