Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Say hello to Ledger!  He is a loving, curious, and playful boy with lots of energy.  He has the cutest, unique trait-his right ear always stands straight up!  He loves to follow his humans around, loves to cuddle up in a lap, and loves to burrow under blankets.  He tends to have a bit of separation anxiety when his foster family leaves the room and he cannot find them. Ledger is good around other dogs; however, he is still learning to respect boundaries.  He is learning not to intrude on other dogs while they are sleeping and eating.  Ledger has proved to be an excellent car rider and a great camper.   Ledger has been sleeping in a comfy crate with his stuffed toy. He is quiet and sleeps all night.  His foster family does not have children but Ledger has been around children for a limited time and did great.  He tends to be a little shy when first introduced to new situations.  Ledger will do well with a family who is interested in a young dog with lots of energy and a family who is willing to be patient and understanding while he continues to work on his doggie manners.    Medical Notes: Neutered Received a Proheart 12 injection. Proheart provides protection against heartworms for 12 months.  Mircochipped Vaccinations are up to date Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 2, 2025, 9:12 pm

Story
Meet Xerxes!  This little pup is on the hunt for his forever family. Xerxes is a dachshund and pitbull terrier mix with an estimated birthday of 11/30/2024. Xerxes still has a lot of growing to do, we estimate him to be between 35-40lbs fully grown. Of course, puppies often prove us wrong! Xerxes sports an adorable white and tan coat and the cutest little legs! Like most puppies, Xerxes is incredibly outgoing and is always looking to make new friends. He does great with other dogs, cats, and kids, but if you already have any dogs we require a meet and greet.  Interested? Call 615-446-7387 ##2280508##
