Meet Ally! Have you always pictured yourself saving a baby that desperately needs you? Well, this might be it. Ally is the pup the others gang up on, so we’ve been separating her quite a bit and she SO enjoys the special attention! She soaks it all up. When we talk to her she does a dance with her little feet, kicking out her front legs. She gets so excited when you talk to her and she loves to be held. She’s been the most confident with my 90 lbs dog. She walked right up to him and tried to get him to play! These babies are approximately 12 weeks old and they weigh about 3 to 5 pounds each. We think they are Chiweenie‘s, but we cannot be sure since they are strays that came into our program looking like this. They have Demodex mange, and we have already given all of the medication, and the doctor believes they will be looking like beautiful swans in a matter of one month! These babies are living in a foster home, where they are very well socialized and they are on a routine to go potty outside. They stay in a puppy pen together and play with toys and cuddle. They would make great apartment or condo life dogs since they are so small. They act like true little dogs- They are big surprises in little packages! They have little tails that wag, quickly back-and-forth, floppy, ears, and short, stubby legs. They all absolutely adore humans and love to be held and cuddled. They are very food motivated, so they will listen to instructions easily, especially when food is involved. At first, they were a little bit nervous around my 90 pound dog but after just 24 hours they are much more confident. For this reason, I would consider these puppies very adaptable. They will fit right into your lifestyle and family! They absolutely adore children and they live in a foster home with children ages five and two. By the time that they travel, they will be fully vetted, and there will not be any further medical that you need to do according to our veterinarian. We believe they will be ready to travel to their families by July 13. We are looking for adoring families to commit to these babies and give them a loving forever home. It will be important to be safe around them since they are so small. For this reason, we ask that you be considerate about other animals and people in your home to make sure everyone is careful around such tiny things. Thank you for your consideration! These babies need you! The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes. Follow along on our rescue journeys through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $42 surcharge.
