Freddy is a high-energy, happy-go-lucky boy who is great with dogs and kids! He loves to do big zoomies in a circle, then race right back to you for cuddles. After a long day of playing fetch—where he happily chases the ball, even if he doesn’t always bring it back—Freddy is more than ready to snuggle in. If you’re on the couch, expect him to curl right into your back and soak up the love. Freddy is a joyful, affectionate boy who is absolutely ready to find his forever home. If you want it shorter or extra playful, I can tweak the tone too Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Sugar Sugar is my name and I am one of 9 puppies born to a small, dachshund/chihuahua mix mom. Unfortunately, she was really skinny except for that big belly that was full of puppies and she couldn’t feed all of us when we were born. So I came to my foster mom to get bottle fed along with 2 of my siblings My sister Pearl was such a fussy girl when she was first born that she refused to drink formula when we came to our bottle feeder. She only drank Goat’s milk so we followed her lead and that is all we would drink too! She was right, it is really good. Fast forward to today, we are 8 weeks old and will get my baby making bits removed on January 5, 2026 and then will be able to go to my forever home. I am not as fussy as my sister Pearl, but do love the little kibbles of puppy food that we are currently eating. I will be a small girl like my mom who is about 15 pounds. And I am as sweet as Sugar too! Local Adoption fee in Texas is $350 Out of state adoption fee with transport and fuel surcharge is $600

**Adoption visits are by appointment only** If you see an animal you`re interested in, fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-PetJackpot is a 12-pound Doxie mix with a big personality packed into a small frame! This little guy is full of charm and character, and while he tries hard not to be the Grinch, he can be a bit picky about his people. Once you’re in his circle, though, you’ll have a loyal friend for life. Jackpot loves the company of other social dogs and would thrive in a home where he can have canine companions to play and hang out with. Because of his selective nature and strong personality, Jackpot is looking for a teen or adult-only home where his boundaries will be respected and his confidence can shine. He does have a prey drive, so no chickens or small animals for this guy. If you’re ready for a spirited, one-of-a-kind pup who will keep you smiling, Jackpot might just be your perfect match!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**Libby** Libby is a 17-pound, 1-year-old female Dachshund-Corgi mix. She was found with her sister, Lexxi, running with stray dogs that had been dumped in an area of Fresno, California.  Libby is closely bonded to her sister, and we would love to find a forever home for them together. The ideal adopter(s) should be experienced with dogs and familiar with rescue situations, as both dogs are fearful of men. A supportive and caring environment is essential, especially if there is a male in the household. The male will need to be actively involved in feeding and caring for them to earn their trust, as they tend to trust women first. from their foster:  Libby (the tan one) is the outgoing sister—loyal, people-loving, and always ready to be your shadow. If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, she’s a certified snuggle pro. She also walks nicely on a leash. These two adore each other, bring zero drama, and are impressively quiet—they’d make absolutely terrible guard dogs, but perfect companions. The girls are up to date on vaccines and need to be spayed. Rompin Paws can work with the adopters to get them spayed at our vet, or they can take them to their vet. The current adoption fee does not include spaying costs. This may be updated if they are spayed prior to adoption. These pups are young and can be worked with to be lovely family members.  Their foster has begun working with them so that they have had harness and lead training, but will require more work. We do recommend a child-free home because of their anxiety and trauma from being dumped. They need a calm home with adults. If you have the time, love, experience, and willingness to help these two sweet girls work through their trauma so they can become loving and loved family members, we would love to chat with you. We are open to a foster-to-adopt period, so there is ample time allowed for the potential adopters to work with Libby and get to know her. **Adopting Libby** To apply to adopt Libby, please use the link below. One of our volunteers will review your application and follow up with you to ask questions, address any concerns, and determine whether you are a good match for this pup. If a match is made, the next step will be a meet-and-greet. Please use a computer to complete the application, as tablets and cell phones may disrupt the process. Tucker has transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble, focusing instead on a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate her adopters on proper diet and nutrition.   The adoption fee for Libby is $595 and includes spay, vaccines, rabies, and microchip   www.rompinpawsrescue.com                Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 18, 2025, 1:04 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Cocoa Cocoa is a 1 year old Dachshund-Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retriever mix of 22 pounds. She and her 7 1-year old siblings were all dumped at the shelter by their owner who could not find homes for them. At risk of euthansia, several rescues stepped in to give the dogs a chance at finding their forever families. Cocoa and her brother Hershey are with Rompin Paws Rescue. Cocoa came in scred and exhausted. After a good nites rest and a couple of large meals, she was ready for some lap time and love. Cocoa has met many of the small dogs in the rescue and one large Shepherd puppy and has done very well with them. She is non reactive and just wants to explore or be loved. Both these breeds make great poets and the Duck Tolling Retriever who is the smallest hunting retriever and of a Candian ancestry, is a family friendly dog who is very loyal and loving. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. **ARE YOU READY TO FALL IN LOVE WITH DACHSHUNDS?** Prepare your heart for Cole and Tucker, two irresistible puppies who are sure to capture your affection! (The last photo is of their mom-Misty) These adorable boys are two of Misty's four puppies. Momma Misty is a sweet Chiweenie, and her sons are blessed with many charming Dachshund traits, Italian Greyhound Faces. They are incredibly loving, cuddly, and absolutely inseparable. Tucker, the slightly larger of the two, is outgoing and playful, while Cole is a little more reserved but is blossoming with confidence every day. Their bond is a joy to witness, and both their foster mom, Olivia, and I are eager to see them find a forever home together. At just 4 months old, Cole weighs 6 pounds, and Tucker weighs 7 pounds. Both have received their puppy vaccines and are quick learners, ready to take on the world with you. Cole has a tiny white marking on his back left paw, while Tucker is a stunning, solid black. These boys are not just looking for a home; they are looking for a loving family that understands the importance of their relationship. If you’re considering adding one of these precious pups to your family but don’t have another dog to guide them, we strongly encourage you to adopt both! Keeping Cole and Tucker together will allow them to thrive, love, and grow side by side. Don’t miss out on the chance to bring these joyful brothers into your life!
