I was so hungry that even now, I binge on food because I remember what it was like to go without.5 years ago, everything changed. A family saw me, rescued me, and gave me a home. They discovered that I’m super smart, incredibly sweet, and blessed with the most beautiful smile. I have a playful side, too! I LOVE toys that I can chew and tear apart—especially the ones that squeak! I’ve spent the last 5 years living in a small apartment, and I’m perfectly happy with daily walks and time with my people. When my family travels, I stay with friends and adapt very easily. Oreo's owner has had her for 5 wonderful years but then the family had a baby and the baby became a toddler and it has all been too much for Oreo, too much unbounded kid, not enough space. She loves to cuddle, loves attention and being petted.  She will let you know if you start to slack off petting her.   She would love an active family with older respectful kids.  She loves to play fetch and to run.  Her trainer suggested agility training as she is incredibly fast and agile.  We think she would thrive on the challenge of a course and competition.  But even if she just went running and hiking with you, she would be an excellent companion who would keep you both motivated. She can be OK with other dogs, as long as they are at least medium to large size, not small ones. I am great with kids and dogs of all sizes! I am a perfect energy level for nearly any home. And estimated to be around 3-4 years old. I’d love kids or dogs in my forever home. Just no cats please. I came from a hoarding case in Alabama and have been in my foster moms home for over a year now, she doesn’t know why and neither do I. I’m very sweet, loving and love to melt into you. I adore kids and I’m a cuddler and will cuddle anytime, anywhere. I love cuddling, sunbathing(I love to lay flat on my back and tan my belly!), playing with my fur siblings and food times, I make my bowl look like it came out of the dishwasher! At bed time I cuddle up with my fur siblings in my foster home on the couch. I am crate trained but my foster mom doesn’t crate me ever, I am very well behaved and house trained. I ride well in the car, I’m a very clean eater, I’m treat motivated and sit with the cutest perked up ears waiting patiently for my treats. My foster family loves to giggle at my play style, when I get super excited playing I spin in a circle.. or a few circles  I have seen a lot of my fosters siblings get their forever homes over the past year, but I’m still here. We found Oreo when my dad went out hunting with my sister and he came up to them and would stay there and then disappear for a while and then come back. They realized he looked a little skinny and they didn’t want to leave him there to be all alone again. He brought Oreo home and we took him to get checked to see if he was micro chipped but he wasn’t and we uploaded a picture of him to facebook to see if anyone would come forward about being his owner. He’s a really sweet dog and has never once tried to bite any of our family members. Compared to our other dog he’s sweeter and really gentle. We believe he is on the younger side because he’s so incredibly playful and he doesn’t seem to be that old. We would love for him to have a home where he’s able to continue to go hunting with his owner as my father is afraid to take him with him since he doesn’t know how to properly care for him in that aspect. He’s such a sweet boy and we would love for him to find a loving and caring home.
