Story
Frankie is a 3year old Dalmatian. He is a great dog. Great with other dogs and people. We really love him but he has seizures sometimes that is an impact on our family. So we want to rehouse him with someone who can handle a pet who sometimes has seizures.

Story
Meet an adorable one-year-old Dalmatian mix who is ready to bring a ton of love into your life! This handsome pup is already trained to "sit" and "lay down," and he is incredibly eager to learn more. He is deeply affectionate and thrives on human attention and companionship. While he can be a little overprotective of his favorite people, it all stems from his massive heart—he truly is just a giant cuddle buddy at the end of the day. As a young Dalmatian mix, he has plenty of puppy energy and requires an active family who can provide daily exercise and plenty of interaction. When he is all tuckered out from playtime, his favorite ritual is to burrow deep into a blanket and get lost in a cozy nap. He is a truly loving companion who will blossom in a home that can give him the exercise, guidance, and affection he deserves.

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet. Oreo's owner has had her for 5 wonderful years but then the family had a baby and the baby became a toddler and it has all been too much for Oreo, too much unbounded kid, not enough space. She loves to cuddle, loves attention and being petted.  She will let you know if you start to slack off petting her.   She would love an active family with older respectful kids.  She loves to play fetch and to run.  Her trainer suggested agility training as she is incredibly fast and agile.  We think she would thrive on the challenge of a course and competition.  But even if she just went running and hiking with you, she would be an excellent companion who would keep you both motivated. She can be OK with other dogs, as long as they are at least medium to large size, not small ones. Age: 6 years Weight: 37 lbs Temperament: Gets along with dogs her size and larger, all adults and older respectfule kid, no toddlers Training: Housetrained Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative Email for questions:    http://musicadisanto@yahoo.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.October 10, 2026, 5:57 pm

CeCe found herself at our local animal control and on the euthanasia list. She is a very sweet girl to her humans and has done well with her outings and meeting others. She will do best in a home that will include her in adventures. Let's find her family.  CeCe will probably not pass breed restrictions for an apartment building or rental home.   we are accepting applications here: https://gahomelesspets.org/ ##2192083##

Story
Dixie - 23321 - Kennel 827 - Arrived October 11, 2026 - Labrador Retriever and Dalmatian mix - black and white - female - 15 years old - 50 lbs - Spayed - Up to date on vaccines - Heartworm negative Dixie has a soft black coat, a silvery-white muzzle that tells the story of 15 years, and a big, open smile with her tongue hanging out. She looks like a dog who has spent her whole life at the side of her best friend. That friend is Marley, and she is standing right next to her in kennel 827. Dixie and Marley arrived at Cobb Animal Services on October 11, 2026. They have been together for every one of their 15 years, and everything around them is suddenly new. They are still adjusting, and in these first days they have kept a close watch on the parking lot. That tells you how deeply they feel things, and how much love they have to give. At 50 pounds, Dixie is a gentle senior girl who is house trained, knows sit and stay, and is good with children, dogs, and cats. A dog who has spent 15 years learning how to live with people is a gift to the household that welcomes her. It isn’t fair that a girl who has been a companion for this long is spending her golden years in a shelter, and she deserves a soft bed, a quiet routine, and someone who is glad she is there. Dixie and Marley have never known life apart, and we hope they can go home together. Dixie will bring a lifetime of devotion to any loving home. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. Come meet Dixie in kennel 827. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
She’s a 4 yr old Shepard/Pointer mix looking for the right home. She’s a very energetic and playful dog who would do best with an active owner or a home with plenty of space to run. She’s incredibly affectionate and loves being around people—she just has a lot of energy to share! She would thrive in a home without cats, as she doesn’t do well around them. With the right environment and attention, she’ll make a loyal and loving companion. She’s very loving and loves the outdoors she needs a little training but I’ve had her since she was a puppy and overall she’s an amazing dog!
