Story
**NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS - Please use the application link within his bio as we do not respond to the 'Ask About Me' emails** We are so excited to introduce ASHER to our TMM family!! Asher is a STUNNING 3 year old male Dalmatian. He is house trained, crate trained, dog friendly, cat friendly and child friendly! However, he is HIGHLY food motivated, meaning he likely would not be a good fit for a home with a younger child and will need an adopter who is aware of his ability to counter surf. While Asher is still learning commands, he is eager to learn, eager to please and very loving! Asher is 100% a velcro dog! Believe us when we say, you will never have to go to the bathroom alone again! Asher sleeps wonderfully through the entire night in his crate and is beyond excited to see you when he wakes up - if given the choice, he would choose to sleep in the bed with you. At this time, the only fearful response we have seen has been when he hears a loud diesel type engine. Asher is a typical dal who loves attention and playtime! He will need a dedicated owner who is willing to put in the effort to continue his training - consistently is key. While not required, Asher would greatly benefit from a doggy sibling and a fenced in yard as he loves to run and explore, which is true to the breed. Asher is up to date on all of his annual vaccinations (including canine influenza and leptospirosis). We will supply the adopter with all medical records in addition to a full blood panel and urinalysis results. It's important to note that Dalmatians are commonly known for needing to be exercised and mentally stimulated daily! A bored Dalmatian will usually be a destructive and unruly Dalmatian. This breed will also shed twice a year, January through June and July through December (did you catch that?). Dalmatians are big time shedders! We're talking those small hairs that weave in between fabric and never come out. If you prefer a fur free home, this breed is not for you. Dalmatians are also known for being HUA (High Uric Acid) unless specifically bred with LUA (Low Uric Acid) genes. This means that they cannot process purines and will need specialized diets. There is plenty of information online for low purine food options as this condition is similar in dietary restrictions for a human who has gout disease. Low purine options include turkey, chicken and whitefish based foods. Pork, venison and other gamey meat options - along with ALL secreting organs and all variations of yeast - are off the menu. "Standard" dog kibbles which contain secreting organs (liver, kidneys, gizzards, meat byproducts, meat meals, etc) should NOT be fed to this breed if they are HUA. Feeding these dog foods would put our pups at risk for HUU (Hyperuricosuria), bladder crystallization, and/or bladder stones which could even lead to death. We recommend feeding either a low purine raw or balanced fresh food diet, or utilizing dehydrated mixes from The Honest Kitchen (made with human grade low purine ingredients) to ensure they do not have any issues during their lifetime. If you cannot afford to feed these types of dog foods, please do not submit an application. Dalmatians are an expensive breed to properly care for and any future adopter/owner should be prepared for the expenses. We are currently awaiting results that will determine if Asher is HUA or LUA, however unless a Dalmatian was specifically bred with LUA genes - they are going to be HUA. So to err on the side of caution and be preventative, we will treat him as a HUA Dalmatian until proven otherwise. Interested in adopting Asher? Please visit our website to fill out an application: https://themadduxmovement.godaddysites.com/adoption-application ** APPLICATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO BE ON FILE PRIOR TO BEING APPROVED FOR A MEET AND GREET ** Interested in looking at other available Dalmatians? You can follow us on facebook or instagram to find out when our next Dalmatian arrives: facebook: @themadduxmovement https://www.facebook.com/themadduxmovement Instagram: @themadduxmovement https://instagram.com/themadduxmovement ____________________________________________ The Maddux Movement is a non-profit foster based rescue located in Atlanta, GA. Our mission is to rescue and rehome animals that are in abusive, neglectful or endangering situations, which includes traditional or open admission shelters, strays, owner surrenders and puppy mills. Adoptions are not based on a first come first serve basis. The individual(s) selected will be chosen by what is best for each animal. Although our rescue is breed focused, we are not a breed restrictive rescue. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (including leptospirosis and canine influenza). Additionally, each adopted dog will be sent home with a new Fi Series 3 GPS Tracker Smart Dog Collar (with a 6 month subscription), a copy of The Forever Dog Life by Rodney Habib and Dr. Karen Becker and a complimentary dog blanket.

Hi! My Name is Munster but sometimes my foster family calls my Scobby-Doo because I love to solve a good mystery and explore! Who ate my Bone!! Probably my foster brothers, who I get along with well! I do like to wrestle but I have a foster sister she doesn’t like to get dirty so I try to show her I’m a cool guy! I never met a cat but I heard about those guys! I do love my name and remember it well so anytime you call me I will come running! I’m a good listener! Hint hint… maybe I could be an emotional support dog for the right human. I loveeeeee my humans! Big or small!!! I like to give kisses and wow those kids are fun to run with! A good butt rub and I am melting like cheese…after all that is my name😌 Looking for the perfect family to hangout with and explore! An active family would be amazing but I’m the kind of guy who can hang around on the porch! I do get burst of energy after all I’m still a puppy! I forgot to mention I am kind of a celebrity around town as I’ve been personally interviewed by the news😏 Currently Holding off the paparazzi and autographs hoping the right family will star in my feature film “My Furever Home!!”

Story
Chloe will be 4 yrs old at the end of January. She is very loving and full of energy. Unfortunately, due to our work and travel schedule, we must rehome her. We obtained Chloe from my former manager whose dogs had puppies. Chloe was primarily my son's dog. My son moved into his own apartment earlier this year and was unable to take her with him. Looking for a home that can dedicate time to her and give her all the love she deserves.

Story
Marlee is a stunning and spirited Dalmatian mix who also happens to be deaf—but that doesn’t slow her down one bit! This high-energy girl is full of life, joy, and enthusiasm. She’s currently in training to learn sign language commands and is picking them up with her signature zest and determination.Marlee is looking for a dedicated and active family who can keep up with her playful energy and continue her training journey. Because she`s deaf, consistency and patience are key to helping her thrive. She’ll need a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and burn off her zoomies.Marlee has been cat tested and isn’t aggressive, but she does love a good chase—playfully, of course! She’d do best in a home where cats are either dog-savvy or not easily startled. If you’re ready for a loving, energetic companion who will reward your efforts with endless affection and tail wags, Marlee might just be your perfect match!Marlee`s adoption fee is $200, which includes her spay, microchip, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test (if over 9 months old), and kept up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting Marlee, you may fill out an application at www.tlcsh.org or you are welcome to make a Match Making appointment to come out and meet her first. We are open Tuesday – Sunday 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Story
Meet Shorty -- the little Beagle with a big heart! Shorty is a happy, loving little guy who just wants to be close to his people. This adorable 1.5-year-old Beagle, weighing about 44 lbs, was saved at the very last moment from Polk County Shelter. He&#39s a truly special boy with striking heterochromia--one warm brown eye and one beautiful blue--that make him unforgettable. At first, Shorty was scared and unsure, but once he realized he was safe, his personality blossomed. Now he&#39s full of love, kisses, and tail wags! He&#39s still a bit shy, when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and shows his affectionate side in no time. Shorty adores other dogs and loves running around the house with his canine friends--he fits right into the pack! He&#39s also cat-friendly and doesn&#39t bother them at all. He&#39d be happiest in a home with another friendly dog to keep him company. He&#39s crate-trained, potty-trained, and learning his leash manners like a champ (especially since he once refused to walk on a leash at all!). He has a low to medium energy level and enjoys a mix of playtime and snuggles. While he&#39s a bit nervous getting into the car, he absolutely loves the ride once it&#39s underway. And don&#39t let his short legs fool you--this little guy can really move! Shorty is the perfect blend of gentle, loyal, and fun--a wonderful companion ready to bring joy to his forever family. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. Shorty is currently heartworm positive and is available for a foster to adopt until his heartworm treatment is completed and he is medically cleared for adoption. If you are not familiar with Heartworms, dogs get it from mosquitoes and it is not contagious, so Shorty can be around other dogs with no issue. It is easily preventable and highly treatable, but requires rest during the treatment. BarkVille will cover all of Shorty&#39s medical expenses while he is being fostered and receiving heartworm treatment. If you&#39re interested in adopting this sweet boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.November 24, 2025, 10:43 pm

Story
Meet Allegra - a gorgeous and affectionate Pointer/Dalmatian mix who is 5 years old and weights 70 lb . With her happy spirit and beautiful markings, Allegra is as stunning on the outside as she is loving on the inside. She&#39s a playful, energetic girl who absolutely adores being outdoors, chasing after her toys, and especially playing fetch - it&#39s one of her favorite games! Allegra is also very smart and eager to please. She has had professional training, walks well on a leash, and loves having a job to do. She would thrive with an active person or family who enjoys running, hiking, or other outdoor adventures. A fenced yard would be the perfect place for her to stretch her legs and play to her heart&#39s content. This sweet girl is people-friendly and enjoys being around children, though her playful energy means she&#39d do best with older kids who won&#39t get easily knocked over by her enthusiasm. Allegra is also dog-friendly and gets along well with the pups in her foster home, but she would be just as happy soaking up all the love as an only dog. At home, Allegra is the total package - she is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She is loving, attentive, and always ready to shower her people with affection. What Allegra wants most is a forever family who will appreciate her joyful energy, include her in their adventures, and give her the love she so deserves. If you&#39re looking for a smart, fun, and devoted companion who will be by your side for every adventure (and every snuggle afterward), Allegra might just be the perfect girl for you! For more information about this wonderful girl, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org.
