Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet. Oreo's owner has had her for 5 wonderful years but then the family had a baby and the baby became a toddler and it has all been too much for Oreo, too much unbounded kid, not enough space. She loves to cuddle, loves attention and being petted.  She will let you know if you start to slack off petting her.   She would love an active family with older respectful kids.  She loves to play fetch and to run.  Her trainer suggested agility training as she is incredibly fast and agile.  We think she would thrive on the challenge of a course and competition.  But even if she just went running and hiking with you, she would be an excellent companion who would keep you both motivated. She can be OK with other dogs, as long as they are at least medium to large size, not small ones. Age: 6 years Weight: 37 lbs Temperament: Gets along with dogs her size and larger, all adults and older respectfule kid, no toddlers Training: Housetrained Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative Email for questions:    http://musicadisanto@yahoo.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.August 14, 2026, 1:11 pm

Story
We need to find a new home for Oreo because we have a 3 yr old son and she does not get along well with children. We’ve had her for about 5 yrs & before we had a child there was no issue but now it’s just an unsafe situation for both. Now that my son is getting older and more active and more interested in the dog, it’s becoming a more volatile and potentially dangerous situation so we have to make the right choice even if it’s a difficult one. She needs to go to a home with no children and preferably someone who is very active. She loves to play fetch and will snuggle you all day. We don’t really know what breed she is so my best guess is a Dalmatian mix, and is probably about 6 yrs old. She was a rescue so we don’t really know what kind she is or exactly how old she is. She has been a great dog, but I have to make the best choice for my son and really what’s best for her as well. She can be OK with other dogs, as long as they are at least medium to large size, not small ones.

Story
I am great with kids and dogs of all sizes! I am a perfect energy level for nearly any home. And estimated to be around 3-4 years old. I’d love kids or dogs in my forever home. Just no cats please. I came from a hoarding case in Alabama and have been in my foster moms home for over a year now, she doesn’t know why and neither do I. I’m very sweet, loving and love to melt into you. I adore kids and I’m a cuddler and will cuddle anytime, anywhere. I love cuddling, sunbathing(I love to lay flat on my back and tan my belly!), playing with my fur siblings and food times, I make my bowl look like it came out of the dishwasher! At bed time I cuddle up with my fur siblings in my foster home on the couch. I am crate trained but my foster mom doesn’t crate me ever, I am very well behaved and house trained. I ride well in the car, I’m a very clean eater, I’m treat motivated and sit with the cutest perked up ears waiting patiently for my treats. My foster family loves to giggle at my play style, when I get super excited playing I spin in a circle.. or a few circles  I have seen a lot of my fosters siblings get their forever homes over the past year, but I’m still here. Ask about me! I love to meet new friends!!  August 14, 2026, 11:25 am

Story
CeCe found herself at our local animal control and on the euthanasia list. She is a very sweet girl to her humans and has done well with her outings and meeting others. She will do best in a home that will include her in adventures. Let's find her family.  CeCe will probably not pass breed restrictions for an apartment building or rental home.   we are accepting applications here: https://gahomelesspets.org/ ##2192083##

Story
Active family dogMeet Hudson! Hudson is affectionate, snuggly, friendly, and loyal—but the trait that really defines him is his intelligence. This boy is what we like to call “doggie Ivy League material.” He’s a quick learner who absolutely thrives when his brain is working. He lights up for training, loves learning new tricks, and would be a fantastic match for someone interested in continued training, agility, or enrichment games. We suspect some working breed in his background, and it shows in his focus, drive, and strong desire to bond with his people. Quick facts: 3 years old, 65 lbs Neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative & on prevention House trained & crate trained Good with other dogs Good with older, respectful kids Knows several basic commands Highly trainable and food/engagement motivated Hudson’s ideal home is an active, engaged one—where learning new skills is part of everyday life. He’s not just looking for a home, but a teammate who enjoys working with a smart, eager dog as much as they enjoy couch cuddles. He’s wonderful with people he knows and bonds deeply once he connects. Equal parts brain and heart, Hudson is happiest when he has both mental challenges and close companionship. Story
This beautiful, sweet 30 lb doggie was dumped in an Atlanta park!! The woman who brought her home wasn't able to have her checked for a chip. So, I offered to check her chip and took her to Clairemont Animal Hospital and indeed she had no chip. So, I asked them to do a full work up on her and she is heartworm negative and has started on all vaccines..Even though you wouldn't know it by her behavior, she is partially blind and has learned my home like a champ. She plays with my elderly rescue, who is much smaller than her and they get along. She was spayed and microchipped last week. She is soft and cuddly and loving, and truly an amazing animal.I'll pay the adoption fee once you meet Kitty and decide she is the doggie for you!I am happy to send you a small clip of her playing.
