Story
Meet Remmington   Remmington is a sweet, gentle male Pointer mix who’s had a rough start but is ready for a fresh beginning. He was picked up by animal control after being found roaming alone in a business parking lot, likely abandoned or neglected. Despite everything he’s been through, Remmington’s kind heart still shines through.   Remmington is timid and shy at first, especially with strangers, but that’s completely understandable given his past. With a little patience and a calm environment, he begins to relax and show his sweet, sensitive personality. He will do best with adopters who understand that trust takes time—and that the reward is incredibly special.   He recently had a veterinary evaluation and was diagnosed with dermatitis caused primarily by flea allergies, which is already being treated with medication. This condition is manageable, and Remmington is on the path to feeling much more comfortable.   Remmington would thrive in:   A quiet, stable home A patient adopter willing to let him decompress at his own pace A home that understands shy dogs and uses gentle, positive reinforcement     This boy has clearly known hardship, but he hasn’t lost his capacity to love. With the right person, Remmington will blossom into a loyal, devoted companion. To apply visit Pepspalsrescue.org/adopt ##2620065##

Story
Hi there! Im Astro Im a 2-year-old mixed breed cutie with a face full of spots and frecklesbasically natures confetti. Im on the hunt for my forever home after being surrendered through no fault of my own, and Im ready to charm my way straight into your heart. Im as sweet as they come, with a playful, goofy streak that will keep you smiling. I love going on walks and take my time sniffing everythingevery blade of grass has a story to tell, and I intend to read them all. Ive had doggie friends before, though I never lived with one full-time. If you already have a pup at home, well do a meet-and-greet to make sure were a perfect match before becoming roommates. Ive interacted with children of all ages and did great with them. In fact, I was especially fond of giving face licks in exchange for any leftover snacksquality control is very important to me. I haven't met cats before, but the volunteers at the rescue said they could do a cat test for interested families. If youre looking for a lovable, freckle-faced sidekick who will make you smile every day and happily explore the world one sniff at a time, Im your guy. Cant wait to meet you! If you would like to meet Astro, please complete an application on our website: www.crcpa.org/online-application. Canine Rescue of Central PA Kennel #3443
