Hi! My name is Jack frost, and I'm from Minnesota! Jack Frost is the perfect mix of playful puppy energy & snuggles. He is potty trained & crate trained, making him an easy addition to a lucky family! Jack adores other dogs & would do great with another dog, when he sees other dogs his tail immediately starts wagging and he wants to play. His favorite past times include playing with toys, playing with other dogs, and being outside in the backyard. He also has balanced his play time nicely with nap time, he loves to snuggle and will climb right into your lap for naps - he is developing his couch potato ways! He is just starting training on leash walking and is doing well so far and seems to enjoy getting out for short walks.

When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! I have had so many chances in my young life. Seriously...I was found with four siblings at about 2.5 weeks old, dumped in a box at the post office... we were so, so sick and close to death. My rescue mom really worked hard to get us healthy and LIVE. And we did! About 6 weeks later, we all got parvo..... and my rescuer was able to nurse all of us out of it! All my siblings have been adopted, and I am ready too! I am somewhat shy and will take time to settle into my new family. But I will adjust. I am best with another dog, calm and confident, because I will mirror that energy. As a gorgeous catahoula/whippet mix, I have plenty of energy and I love to play! Fetch and chase games are my favorite . I am adoptable in Texas, I need to meet my family and you need to meet me! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
