Story
Hi there, I’m Stella! I know, I know… you’re probably wondering what kind of dog I am. Well, get ready — I’m a mix of Dalmatian, German Shepherd, Husky, and even a little Chihuahua. Yep, you read that right! I’m basically a whole dog park in one adorable package. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, but once I feel safe, I warm up and really enjoy attention. I’m a gentle, sweet girl who loves being with my humans and would thrive in an active home where we can go on adventures together. I’m hoping to find a home where I can be your one and only. I lived with another female dog before, and it just wasn’t the right fit for me — so this time around, I’d really love to be the star of the household. If you’re looking for a loyal, quirky, and loving companion, I think we might be a perfect match. I can’t wait to meet you!

THIS ANIMAL HAS 2 ADOPTION HOLD* Say hello to Zero! He came to TCHS as a stray so we don't know much about his history. He has been playful and friendly with staff since his arrival! We are not sure how he would do around other dogs, cats or children. Slow and proper introductions to resident pets and children are always recommended when bringing a new animal home. Ask a TCHS staff for tips on how to ease the transition. Zero would benefit from basic obedience classes to help him grow up to be the best pup! Come meet this handsome man today! *Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling 320-252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee. **Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals. Story
Hi there! My name is Hank and Im on a mission to find my forever family! My foster parents say I am the ultimate good boy, and honestly, I have to agree. If youre looking for affection, we are going to be best friends. Dont let my size fool you- I consider myself a professional lap dog. I will squeeze my big body right onto your lap for cuddle time! I also love a good belly rub and will happily roll over to show you exactly where to scratch. Im incredibly social and get along with absolutely everyone. Kids? Love them! Other dogs? Lets play! Cats? No problem at all. I even do well around chickens and ducks, so I am farm-animal approved. My favorite place to be is outside exploring the great outdoors (though being right next to my humans is always a close second!). I love sniffing around and being out and about, so I make a great adventure companion. To top it off, Im housetrained and already know how to be a polite member of the household. I truly am quite a catch, if I say so myself. I have so much love to give my future family and cant wait to meet you! Hank is estimated to be two years old and 60 lbs. Since we dont know the dogs actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting. We are also holding the following upcoming adoption events! Please note: All dogs/puppies will not be at every event, and some may find their home prior to the event. If you are interested in a specific animal, please check our Facebook page for confirmed attendance the morning of the event: https://www.facebook.com/safehandsrescue/ You do not need to have a Facebook account to check the Safe Hands Facebook page for attendance. We hope to see you at an upcoming Meet & Greet! Story
Hi, I'm Jack Adams! I'm a sweet, happy puppy who's looking for a family to call my very own. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but if you give me a little time and patience, I'll warm up and become your loyal best friend. I'm still a puppy, so I have some energy and love to play! My favorite thing is hanging out with other dogs—I haven't met one that I didn't want to be friends with. I'd love a home with a canine sibling or plenty of opportunities to make new dog friends. My foster family says I seem to be potty trained, and I'm a champ in my kennel. I can stay in it for a full work or school day without any problems. I'm also learning to walk on a leash, and while I'm not perfect yet, I'm getting better every day. Car rides are pretty easy for me too, so I'm happy to tag along on your adventures. I really love kids, but because I'm still young and sometimes forget how big and excited I can be, I'd probably do best with older children who won't get accidentally knocked over during playtime. Cats? Well...they're just a little too interesting for me! I think I'd be happiest in a home without feline friends where I don't have to resist the urge to chase them. If you're looking for a sweet, playful puppy who's ready to learn, loves other dogs, and just needs a little time to show you his wonderful personality, I might be the perfect addition to your family. I'm ready to find my forever home. Maybe it's with you? Love, Jack Adams    Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $575.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 24, 2026, 8:54 pm

Story
💜 Come meet me at our Adoption Event at Brühaven Craft Company in Minneapolis on Saturday, 8/22 from noon to 2pm! 💚 Meet Wolverine, the sweetest little gentleman! Wolverine is a loving, easygoing boy with the biggest heart. He is incredibly sweet and affectionate and always keeps a watchful eye on his sister, Rogue. You can already tell he is going to grow into such a loyal companion. Wolverine truly just goes with the flow. He loves to play and wrestle with his sister, but he’s just as happy relaxing and curling up on the couch with his people. We call him our “floppy man” because he somehow manages to mold himself into whatever space is available just so he can be as close to you as possible. If you’re looking for a loyal buddy and built-in best friend, Wolverine is your guy. On walks, he is always looking around and checking behind him to make sure the entire pack is together and everyone is still following. It is seriously the sweetest thing and shows just how naturally caring and attentive he is. Wolverine loves children, dogs, cats, and pretty much anyone wiling to give him a little head scratch. He is playful gentle, cuddly, adaptable, and happiest when he is close to his people. This sweet little guy is ready to find his forever family and become someone’s very best friend.

💜 Come meet me at our Adoption Event at Twin Cities Premium Outlet Mall in Eagan on Saturday, 8/22 from 1-3pm! 💚 💜 Come meet me at our Adoption Event at Encore Assisted Living & Memory Care in Mahtomedi, 8/23 from 1 - 3 pm! 💚 Date of birth: 6/8/26 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes, for dog savvy cats Kid friendly: Yes Potty Trained: I'm getting really close, but I am still a puppy who is learning Crate Trained: Still a puppy, not yet trained Meet Lucky! 🍀 Hi! My name is Lucky, and I truly am one lucky puppy! I’m part of a big litter, but right now I’m living with just one of my sisters, Evie. We spend our days playing and coming up with all sorts of puppy games—including tearing up paper and carrying off shoes! I’m the braver one of the two, so I’m usually the first to try something new, like figuring out how to walk down the stairs. I absolutely love my people, and the best time of my day is when the nursery gate opens and I get to explore. Evie and I also love riding in our stroller while we take in the sights and sounds of the world. We recently visited a care facility and met lots of seniors. Everyone wanted to hold me, and I thought that was pretty wonderful! I’m a playful, curious little girl who loves discovering what’s around me. I’ll sit and watch through the fence, fascinated by all the exciting animals and plants on the other side. I’m also a pretty easygoing puppy—I don’t mind the noise of an ambulance or the occasional rumble of thunder. I’m looking for a family who wants a playful, curious, loving little companion to share life’s adventures with. If that sounds like you, I hope you’ll choose me! Please adopt me—I’m Lucky, after all! 🍀 Adoption fee: $595
