Story
Ruby and Marshall are a bonded pair. They have been together with their owner for a very long time. However, their beloved human has passed away, so they are in need of a new forever home. They can go separately. They need someone that can spend a lot of time with them. They are very affectionate and are always starved for attention, as their previous owner gave them all of his attention every day. They are both housebroken and do very well on a leash. They also love to play in a fenced in yard together. Their previous owner seemed to have them on a schedule where he would take them out every 3 hours for paly and potty breaks. Ruby and Marshall would make a great family members for an active family. If you would like to add them to your home, please respond by using the big black button marked: "Ask About Me" and we will send you an application. These dogs are being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal friendly transport on the road.

Story
Meet Dorito! This 5-year-old, 28-pound mixed breed may have had a rough start, but he’s making incredible progress thanks to his dedicated foster. Found as a terrified stray, Dorito has been slowly learning to trust and is blossoming into a sweet, playful companion. He loves using the doggy door to take his toys outside, where he entertains himself by tossing them around. He enjoys being brushed, is now taking treats from his foster’s hand, and is gradually getting used to a leash. Dorito is quiet and calm in the home and seems to be house-trained.This special boy would thrive in a patient, loving home with another dog to help boost his confidence. If you have a gentle heart and a soft spot for a pup who just needs a little extra love, Dorito could be the perfect fit for you!

Story
Meet Bella (9) and Lou (8), two spotted sweethearts who love adventure! This charming Dalmatian pair has spent their whole lives together and are looking for a forever family ready to welcome both of them—because where you find one, the other is never far behind.Lou is the fun-loving, high-energy half of the duo. At 64 lbs, he’s happiest running beside an electric scooter, chasing a ball, or showing off his signature Dalmatian enthusiasm. Lou’s also a talker—you’ll never have to wonder what’s on his mind, because he’ll tell you!Bella, on the other hand, is the confident queen and oh-so sassy! At 76 lbs, she knows what she wants, and she’s not afraid to “discuss” it with you. Though she still enjoys playtime and walks, she’s more about the cozy life these days—lounging close to her people and getting plenty of love. She’s also managing a history of kidney stones, so she drinks lots of water and needs frequent potty breaks (and quick access to her throne—er, backyard).Bella and Lou adjusted well to their foster home with a family who was patient and gentle with them. They are house-trained and crate-trained, but can be trusted to free-roam at home. They will need a home without shared walls (no apartments/townhomes) due to their noise level. These Dalmatians need exercise—and A LOT of it! They love to run and play catch as long as you'll let them. They will require a fenced yard in their future home to meet their energy level. A fence taller than 4-ft is recommended due to safety concerns. They do well with other dogs and young kids but will need proper introductions when making friends. Lou tends to be protective of his bestie and they should also be supervised due to their larger size. Bella and Lou cannot live with cats.Together, these two are pure joy. Lou brings the energy; Bella brings the sass—and both bring endless love. If you’re ready to double the spots and double the love, Bella and Lou are ready to meet you.If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

These pups are in Crystal, Minnesota too!

Story
Hi there! My name is Alicia and I'm a 2-year girl that weighs about 40 pounds. I have the same name as my foster mom, so they call me Aurora. I am, without a doubt, the sweetest pup in the world - everyone tells me so! I love to meet new friends and give them hugs, kisses, and snuggles. I’ve met many dogs (15-100 pounds) and have done fantastic with them all. I love to wrestle and play tug-of-war with my furry friends and I’d absolutely love to have a fur sibling in my future home. Confident, dog-savvy cats would be okay too, although I might chase them a little at first. What else is there to know about me? Oh yeah, I’m completely potty, leash, kennel, and house trained! More than almost anything in the world, I love stuffed animals!! I could play with them all day. Sunbathing outside and chasing tennis balls are my favorite activities. Something important to know about me is that I have bilateral hip dysplasia. Some dogs need FHO surgery, whereas others can manage the pain with just medication. Since I’m still young, it’s unclear if I will need surgery in the future but it’s definitely possible. For me to stay healthy, my future family must commit to the following: 1) keeping me lean and active with low-impact exercise such as walks; 2) continuing to feed me a prescription mobility diet such as Hill's j/d; and 3) giving me a joint supplement like Dasuqin. If I'm too active, I will limp or walk slowly; my foster mom manages my pain with an anti-inflammatory. Because of this, I'd do best with a canine friend that takes breaks and doesn't play to rough - that way I don't overexert myself. I know this might sound like a lot of work, but I promise I'm worth it! I'm a super affectionate and loving dog that is so grateful for a second chance in life.     Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $275.00  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 13, 2025, 12:09 am

Story
Meet Aussie, a 7-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer with a zest for life! At 7 years old, Aussie may be considered a bit older, but he’s proof that age is just a number. He’s full of energy and enthusiasm and thrives on being close to his people. Whether he’s tagging along as you move around the house or relaxing nearby, Aussie loves to be part of the action.  Aussie is also proving that old dogs can learn new tricks! He’s eager and ready for training, and we’ve been working on basics like “sit” and taking treats gently. His intelligence and enthusiasm make him a quick learner, so training will be a breeze.  Aussie does well in his kennel. He rides well in the car and enjoys going for walks, though he’s still working on leash manners to prevent pulling.  Currently, Aussie lives with another dog, though they mostly ignore each other. He’d do well in a home with or without another canine companion. Aussie adores people, and his friendly nature suggests he’d be great with kids. However, until he learns to contain his excitement, his wiggly enthusiasm might unintentionally knock over smaller children.  Aussie is house-trained. With a little training and patience, he’ll make a fantastic companion! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Sadie is a comical, quirky, and spunky girl. She came from a neglect case in rural Kentucky, where she and other dogs were found abandoned and starving in an outdoor pen. Sadie is fortunate to be alive! Sadie is spunky when she is outside. Inside the house, she loves to curl up in a blanket on your bed or be cozy in a dog bed. Sadie loves bully sticks and will work them down as a beloved pastime. Sadie is well-behaved in the house, housebroken, and quiet. When she sees something out the window, she may alert vocally though! She is approximately 8 years old and weighs about 40 lbs. When outside, Sadie loves to zip around and explore. She does need a 6-foot fence as she can climb over a 4-foot fence. Sadie loves to go to the dog park and her favorite activity is to bark at other dogs in hopes that they will run so she can chase them.  Sadie is also a squirrel enthusiast so she will tree them and bark, both  in the yard and at the dog park, so sometimes she does need to be re-directed. Sadie loves to chase and bark at other dogs. She does not harm them, though she likes to dominate them like this to get them to play her game.   Sadie zips around like a racehorse at times and is agile and free. She goes from zero to 40 in about 3 seconds. Sadie is a joy to watch at the dog park, just keep walking (taking the lead) and that refocuses her energy! Sadie does have a little random incontinence (likely due to her age) and is on a medicine called Proin. She takes half a tab twice a day and it seems to help her greatly.  Sadie is a bit of an alpha, but can easily live with other dogs, and does mingle with all kinds of dogs at a dog park. Sadie is good with other dogs, older kids, but no cats for Sadie. This senior gal is very lovey-dovey, and loves to be pet, pampered, and smooched. She has a soft, yet also spunky nature and exudes sweet southern charm. Sadie is definitely one of a kind! Interested in adopting? Please complete an interest form on our website  here  If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org *Sadie's adoption fee is $495 + MN tax* redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@8 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dog's actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information ond observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 20, 2025, 4:46 pm
