Story
Ruby and Marshall are a bonded pair. They have been together with their owner for a very long time. However, their beloved human has passed away, so they are in need of a new forever home. They can go separately. They need someone that can spend a lot of time with them. They are very affectionate and are always starved for attention, as their previous owner gave them all of his attention every day. They are both housebroken and do very well on a leash. They also love to play in a fenced in yard together. Their previous owner seemed to have them on a schedule where he would take them out every 3 hours for paly and potty breaks. Ruby and Marshall would make a great family members for an active family. If you would like to add them to your home, please respond by using the big black button marked: "Ask About Me" and we will send you an application. These dogs are being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal friendly transport on the road.

Story
Meet Dorito! This 5-year-old, 28-pound mixed breed may have had a rough start, but he’s making incredible progress thanks to his dedicated foster. Found as a terrified stray, Dorito has been slowly learning to trust and is blossoming into a sweet, playful companion. He loves using the doggy door to take his toys outside, where he entertains himself by tossing them around. He enjoys being brushed, is now taking treats from his foster’s hand, and is gradually getting used to a leash. Dorito is quiet and calm in the home and seems to be house-trained.This special boy would thrive in a patient, loving home with another dog to help boost his confidence. If you have a gentle heart and a soft spot for a pup who just needs a little extra love, Dorito could be the perfect fit for you!

Story
BLIZZARD AND HIS BEST FRIENDS PLAN TO BE AT A MEET AND GREET SUNDAY DECEMBER 7 12:30 -2:30 AT PET EVOLUTION ON 1074 GRAND IN ST. PAUL. COME AND CUDDLE AND MAYBE GO HOME WITH A FRIEND FOR LIFE. Blizzard and his siblings were surrendered to PUP because the owner, who lived in a remote area, could not afford the pups and felt she could not find suitable adopters. The mommy dog is a much loved 30# ‘low rider’ with short legs (pictured). A partner organization agreed to pay for her to be spayed if PUP found homes for the puppies. The owner did a good job of socializing the pups and they arrived in good health. They are well socialized, playful and are enjoying the good life. Blizzard looks like he is going to be a shortie like his mommy and we expect he will be a mid-sized dog when he is full grown. We did DNA testing on one little boy from the litter, but the results won’t be in until mid December. Dogs from the area who have DNA testing often have 20 or more breeds and nearly always have some shepherd, husky, cattle dog, and even the largest pooches have a bit of Chihuahua. We strongly suspect Blizzard has some Doxi and maybe some cattle dog in this mix. (Rumor has it that there is a male cattle dog on a neighboring ranch.) The early months are when puppy learns the social skills needed to be a skilled dog in dealing with other dogs and a good citizen in the human world. Adopters should be committed to getting puppy into lots of new and different human social situations, hearing vacuums, trucks, and rattling garbage cans, meeting people who are clapping, laughing, with hats, tools, bikes and skate boards. AND puppy needs many opportunities to meet and greet dogs of all shapes, sizes and dispositions. Just sharing a home with another dog is not as much doggie socializing as puppy needs. If good canine social skills are not learned and maintained during these early months, it will be very difficult to ever master them. Puppy play dates, trips to the pet store, puppy socialization classes and later, obedience classes are particularly important. If all this doggie time and involvement seems like a good idea, you are up for a puppy! As always, a tired dog is a good dog. Puppy has been vet checked, (he weighed 5.8# on 12-1) vaccinated and de-wormed. He will need two additional puppy vaccinations plus rabies at the adopter’s expense. We do place puppies outside the metro area if a firm plan for the alter surgery is in place; we do not ship. His required alter surgery is covered by the adoption fee if it is done at 6 months at the PUP clinic. We require that he be altered at 6 months. If you are at least 21 years old and everyone in your household is on board with adopting a puppy, CALL 651-645-4370 between 7:00 am and 9:30 pm and we will return your call within 24 hours. We are pretty slow at responding to e-mail. Renters must provide proof that you are allowed to have a puppy. If you currently have a companion dog or cat please be prepared to provide a vet reference prior to adoption if requested.

Story
Meet Bella (9) and Lou (8), two spotted sweethearts who love adventure! This charming Dalmatian pair has spent their whole lives together and are looking for a forever family ready to welcome both of them—because where you find one, the other is never far behind.Lou is the fun-loving, high-energy half of the duo. At 64 lbs, he’s happiest running beside an electric scooter, chasing a ball, or showing off his signature Dalmatian enthusiasm. Lou’s also a talker—you’ll never have to wonder what’s on his mind, because he’ll tell you!Bella, on the other hand, is the confident queen and oh-so sassy! At 76 lbs, she knows what she wants, and she’s not afraid to “discuss” it with you. Though she still enjoys playtime and walks, she’s more about the cozy life these days—lounging close to her people and getting plenty of love. She’s also managing a history of kidney stones, so she drinks lots of water and needs frequent potty breaks (and quick access to her throne—er, backyard).Bella and Lou adjusted well to their foster home with a family who was patient and gentle with them. They are house-trained and crate-trained, but can be trusted to free-roam at home. They will need a home without shared walls (no apartments/townhomes) due to their noise level. These Dalmatians need exercise—and A LOT of it! They love to run and play catch as long as you'll let them. They will require a fenced yard in their future home to meet their energy level. A fence taller than 4-ft is recommended due to safety concerns. They do well with other dogs and young kids but will need proper introductions when making friends. Lou tends to be protective of his bestie and they should also be supervised due to their larger size. Bella and Lou cannot live with cats.Together, these two are pure joy. Lou brings the energy; Bella brings the sass—and both bring endless love. If you’re ready to double the spots and double the love, Bella and Lou are ready to meet you.If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $450. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

These pups are in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota too!

Story
Cowabunga Dude!   Meet Rafael! He was born approximately March, 2024.  He came from a litter of 4. They named the puppies in the litter after the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!  We welcomed him into our home as our newest foster when he was around 5 weeks old. He was so tiny at 3 pounds that you could put him in your pocket. Boy has that changed! Today he weighs about 60 pounds! He's such a cute little snuggle bug. He loves to play and wrestle with his foster sister Wasp. He does great with our other two resident dogs as well! He's super friendly with everyone he meets. We're still working on the house training though. He will let you know when he needs to go outside to use the bathroom but if you don't stop what you're doing right away and let him out, he'll decide to just do his business wherever he's standing. He sleeps every night in crate with no issues at all. He gets along great with our children ages 8, 12, and 14. They love to sit and give him lots of love and attention. He'll even lay down and take naps with them while they're watch TV or playing video games.  Come check out Rafael and maybe you'll hit it off and your home could be his furever home!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:    $525.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 24, 2025, 10:46 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Sadie is a comical, quirky, and spunky girl. She came from a neglect case in rural Kentucky, where she and other dogs were found abandoned and starving in an outdoor pen. Sadie is fortunate to be alive! Sadie is spunky when she is outside. Inside the house, she loves to curl up in a blanket on your bed or be cozy in a dog bed. Sadie loves bully sticks and will work them down as a beloved pastime. Sadie is well-behaved in the house, housebroken, and quiet. When she sees something out the window, she may alert vocally though! She is approximately 8 years old and weighs about 40 lbs. When outside, Sadie loves to zip around and explore. She does need a 6-foot fence as she can climb over a 4-foot fence. Sadie loves to go to the dog park and her favorite activity is to bark at other dogs in hopes that they will run so she can chase them.  Sadie is also a squirrel enthusiast so she will tree them and bark, both  in the yard and at the dog park, so sometimes she does need to be re-directed. Sadie loves to chase and bark at other dogs. She does not harm them, though she likes to dominate them like this to get them to play her game.   Sadie zips around like a racehorse at times and is agile and free. She goes from zero to 40 in about 3 seconds. Sadie is a joy to watch at the dog park, just keep walking (taking the lead) and that refocuses her energy! Sadie does have a little random incontinence (likely due to her age) and is on a medicine called Proin. She takes half a tab twice a day and it seems to help her greatly.  Sadie is a bit of an alpha, but can easily live with other dogs, and does mingle with all kinds of dogs at a dog park. Sadie is good with other dogs, older kids, but no cats for Sadie. This senior gal is very lovey-dovey, and loves to be pet, pampered, and smooched. She has a soft, yet also spunky nature and exudes sweet southern charm. Sadie is definitely one of a kind! Interested in adopting? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Gorgeous Girl Gator (1y 9mo., 47lb) has been in shelter/foster care down in Alabama for over a year, and is ready to experience love from her own forever family humans!! Don't let her name fool you - she doesn't have puppy teefs anymore and is 100% sweetness and fun.   Gator loves running around in the yard, exploring all of the sniffs, and taking long naps on her doggy bed. She is doing well with her potty and crate training.   Gator also loves people, and has done well with other dogs, but really loves lower energy/older dogs to pal around with. She could probably live with out without another canine in the home.   She's a super smart girl who is eager and ready to learn more - being a young working breed mix, she would do famously well with some obedience or even agility! We already know she would excel at snuffle puzzles and games.  Gator has been fine with the kids and cats that she has met so far as well - but is still a puppy so she does get excited and may accidentally knock over little kids.    The ideal home for Gator would include (but not limited to):  Humans that love walks and/or activities in need of a copilot  A low energy/elder pup to hang out with (but not necessary!)  Someone who is patient and is looking for a pup to train and learn with  A nice big fluffy dog bed (this one is her request)  Ample toys and activities to keep her brain and sniffer busy Space to run and play   If you would like to learn more about Gator, please submit an interest form on our website:  https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com Follow us on Facebook & Instagram! https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue/ @RedemptionRoadRescueMN *Adoption fee for Gator is $625 + MN state tax* All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, DHPP vaccine series, Lepto. vaccine series, rabies vaccine, 4DX test (negative),  microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 5, 2025, 8:29 am
