Story
This cutie is Silas. He is currently 2 months old and weighs approximately 17 lbs. We think they may be a German short haired pointer/pitbull mix , but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Silas playful personality here: https://youtu.be/qAXvYvegGMg?si=530nGqQCn3GwRatM Silas is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Silas is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving at their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Meet Cassidy, the almost three-year-old catahoula –lab mix (we think!) who looks like a tiny tiger, smiles like a cartoon character, and has the voice of someone who always has thoughts to share. Her coat is this gorgeous almost-brindle swirl, and when the sun hits her just right, she looks like a cinnamon roll with legs. Cassidy is a toy enthusiast — truly, professionally. The moment you open the door to the backyard, she launches herself outside like, “HELLO, I HAVE IMPORTANT FETCH BUSINESS TO ATTEND TO.” She’ll grab her favorite toy, trot over to you proudly, and then gently nudge the ball toward your feet like a little soccer prodigy trying out for Team USA. And if you take too long to throw it? Don’t worry. She’ll speak. And yes, she knows speak on command… but she also knows sit, lay down, shake, spin, and approximately 700 versions of “look how cute I am.” Watch her video to see her cuteness in action! https://youtu.be/JIxHe-4Cbys?si=xA-WBDHLj2V176Ma Cassidy is a sweet, sensitive gal who really blossoms when things are calm and predictable. She’s not the “jump right into your lap within five seconds” type — she’s more of a “let me observe everything first, narrate it out loud, and then decide you are my person forever” vibe. Once she settles in, though, she is loyal, goofy, snuggly, and full of personality. With other dogs, she’s kind of like the kid in class who wants friends but also wants everyone to please, respectfully, not tackle her. She LOVES hanging out with chill dogs who greet politely and don’t smash into her like a furry wrecking ball. She actually thrives with a doggy buddy who’s calm, confident, and happy to co-exist or do low-key play. Think: “let’s vibe together” energy, not “LET’S WRESTLE RIGHT NOW.” Perfect balance. Cassidy also lives with a cat! Biggie the cat did his “I am fearless and will walk directly up to this dog like I own the planet” thing, and Cassidy was like “ummm… boundaries??” But in a normal home where cats do normal cat things, she coexists just fine — she’s just not prepared for a cat who introduces himself so eagerly. We would definitely recommend some more kitty testing just to ensure that Cassidy is feline friend approved! She’s also living with older kiddos who think her “talking” is hilarious and adorable — because it is. She chats, but not in a “problem” way, more like “I am full of opinions and I would like them known.” For younger kids, we’d want to test things out just to make sure everybody is on the same wavelength of “Cassidy’s voice = comedy, not concern.” She can also be a bit jumpy, spinny, and overall bouncy, so older kiddos might be best overall! Cassidy would love a home where nobody minds a little joyful barking, where neighbors aren’t going to file a complaint when she announces “GOOD MORNING, I AM EXCITED!” A house with a backyard is definitely her dream — it’s her stage, her stadium, her fetch arena. She will need some decompression and patience at first, but once she finds her people, she is all in. Silly, smart, loyal, toy-obsessed, talkative, gentle-hearted Cassidy is the perfect mix of fun and sweetness. She’s a total doll and she’s ready for her forever family — preferably one with a chill doggy sibling, a sense of humor, and a love for backyard soccer. Ready to meet your new best friend with the cutest voice and the cutest smile? Cassidy is waiting. 🐾 Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
