Cole is a 2 year old Doberman-Rottweiler mix with a striking presence and an even more impressive personality. Recently abandoned with his other siblings, Cole is now looking for a second chance at a forever home where he can finally feel safe, understood and loved. This affectionate boy absolutely adores people He thrives on human attention and will happily lean in for pets, snuggles or just to be closer to you. Cole is also full of energy and an excitement for life! He is playful, active and needs plently of daily exercise to stay happy and balanced. As a strong, intelligent dog, Cole will benefit greatly from structure, consistency, and continued training. He is eager to learn and wants to please...he just needs someone willing to guide him. Last weekend, in the middle of a huge storm, one of our incredible volunteers found Jay chained to a trailer in the pouring rain where he had been kept for months. Severely emaciated at only 53 lbs and desperately thirsty, Jay began drinking from every rain-filled container he could find the moment he was freed. This sweet one-year-old boy had clearly been deprived of even the most basic care. But despite everything hes endured, Jays spirit is nothing short of remarkable. He leans in softly for affection, grateful for every gentle touch. He plays beautifully with other dogs when introduced properly, enjoying tug-of-war, playful zooms, and the simple joy of companionship. Now safe in a warm home, Jay has been sleeping deeply, eating well, and slowly filling back out finally getting the care he deserved all along. Story

Leia is an 11 month old doberman/Shepard mix. She is a smart, energetic dog who has all her shots and was recently spayed. She learns quickly and loves earning treats and learning new things. She goes on hikes with me and loves to play fetch and absolutely loves a flirt pole. She would do well in a home with a yard or with someone who goes out on adventures often. She would also do better in a home without kids. Crate trained, house trained. No separation anxiety. Sleeps all night in her crate and goes in when we tell her to. Our reason for rehoming is that she bit my 8 year old son, so she would likely be better off without children. My son is impulsive and crossed some boundaries, so they are not a good fit with each other. I have continued to work with her since that happened, as I want her to be a great dog for someone else! Her leash manners need some work as she regressed a bit after her spaying.
