Her owners could not afford treatment and surrendered her to the rescue. After getting evaluated by our vet, it was determined that her leg injury was too bad/old to be corrected and ultimately, her rear hind leg was amputated. Don’t let this deter you from adopting her, cause Coco is a fabulous dog who has adjusted so well without her leg. She loves to cuddle and will follow you around wherever you go.
