Soon after she was rescued, as a complete shock to everyone, Route gave birth to 2 puppies, but neither survived, most likely due to her condition coming in. In a year, Route has experienced a lot. Our neighbor was getting rid of him as a puppy and we took him in, not knowing how much he would grow. He is such an amazing dog. But our schedule is full with our kids sports. He stays home alone for most of the day and gets into trouble. He digs holes in my back yard and destroys every bed I get him. It's just his way to show us he needs attention and training that sadly we can't provide. He needs space and a dedicated owner that will give him training and time he deserves. He barks very loudly when people come to the house and won't stop until he has been properly introduced to the visitors. I have kids, 5 and 11 years old and he is amazing with them and never has shown signs of aggression. I have hired three different dog sitters when I have been out of town and haven't had any complaints. I pray that I find a good loving home for him. His birthday is July 27, 2023
