I'm currently living with my foster family and my furry foster siblings. I'm currently looking for a family to call my own. I would love to have a furry companion to play with.  I get along with all dogs and humans.  I love to play fetch and run. I'm still young and have energy to burn but I'm not hyper, playing at the dog park or going for a walk is sufficient exercise for me.  I learned how to sit right away and currently working on lay down and shake. Not to toot my own horn but I've been told that I'm very smart and learn commands quickly. I like it when I make my humans happy so I'm always paying attention and waiting for my humans for direction. I want to be the best dog that I can be so I really need a family that will commit to my training and exercising. This will assure that I will be a well-balanced dog. I'm good with kids, I like chasing them and playing but I do have sharp teeth so maybe older kids would be better. I am potty trained and if you are paying attention, I will let you know when I need to go potty outside. I sleep through the night, currently sleeping with my foster sister who is 11 years old. Also, currently working on not jumping on my humans which I have made tremendous progress.   I love being with my humans so someone that is home more often than not is what I would prefer. I love going on walks and riding in the car which I'm getting pretty good at doing now with a leash. If you like to go for walks, I'm your girl, I also love playing in the yard so I need a good-sized yard so I can play ball with you.  If you are looking for a smart and good-looking girl, well you found me. I would love to cuddle with you after our walks and ball playing, I'm a great cuddler and I love to just chill next to you on the couch. -Purebred, AKC registered -She's super smart. Knows a lot of words/commands (come, sit, down, spin, stay, off, place, bedtime, breakfast, dinner, lay down) -High energy, but also a good napper -Socialized with other dogs (loves doggie daycare). But she needs to be the only animal in the home as she can get territorial. -Affectionate and cuddly. She loves people. -In very good health, but she is spay incontinent. She takes one pill with each meal (breakfast and dinner). As long as she is on the medication, she will not have any issues.

Playful, high energy, and loves to give kisses to the humans he trusts, that's our Archie! 2 and a half years old, this Doberman Pinscher/Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler/Kelpie mix is housetrained, gets along with other dogs after a proper intro, and is good with children over 12. Archie does not understand the fuss about cats and prefers to avoid them. Currently in Anaheim, CA, Archie needs a foster, or better yet, a Furever home! As with many of our doggos, Archie didn't have the best start - he was so scared, very dirty, and under socialized. He still is a bit anxious when meeting new people and it takes a minute for him to trust. We are pretty sure that he doesn't know he is really 75 pounds of love! He isn't the right dog for everyone...but maybe he is for you. Are you calm? Confident? Consistent? Have a solid routine? Patient? If so, you are pawesome and need to apply today! P.S. Meet Dodger! Dodger survived 17 long months at the shelter, and he is finally free! He's got some decompressing to do, and we are still getting to know him. What we do know is that he is a little over 5.5 years old, weighs 70 lbs., and most importantly, he will never be discarded again.
