Meet Athena, she's a 4 year old Doberman /Pointer mix. Athena is a super sweet social girl who is great with dogs and kids and loves to be around lots of people. Athena needs to be an outside dog or a ranch dog as she has fecal incontinence and will not wear diapers so can not be house trained. Many tests have been done and there is not a cure for fecal incontinence. If you think Athena might fit into your family please come out to the ranch 34128 Agua Dulce Canyon Road any day between 8:00 and 7:00.

Valentino is a young, happy dude. We don’t really know what happened but he had a serious burn on one side of his body and the people that had him left it untreated for 2 weeks before reaching out for help. I know, insane. Anyway, he ended up at Hope For Paws who rushed him to a vet and he was there for several weeks while being treated and healing. He is now here with us and he is such a clown! Just so happy about life! He is GREAT with other animals and people (but he might be too much for small children). He’s on the smaller side for his breed.

ChaCha and her littermates were born into rescue on June 1, 2025.  Mom is a 16lb min pin mix and we are unsure of what dad is. They will be small breed dogs.  ChaCha is a little different than her siblings but is still a very happy puppy. She has been seen by the vet and bloodwork didn't show anything. Our vet said that since she has shown so much improvement since birth he wouldn't do any further testing at this time. However, Chacha does have some special needs which cause her to engage in some circling behavior that looks like she is dancing the Cha Cha! The vet thinks it's possible that ChaCha might have gotten less nutrients or oxygen in the womb and now that she is getting plenty of food and good care her body is getting back to the way it should be. She is a soft little cuddle bug with a calm demeanor.
