He’s a great boy! -7-year-old, neutered male -Doberman Pinscher -Black & Tan -79lbs -Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 09/03/24 as an owner-surrender -Card says he has some sort of bite history, but it can’t be too bad because they’re letting us work with him -He’s been very good with people -Friendly with other dogs, likes wagging his tail -A health waiver may be required for a “hygroma” and came in with some wounds -Jacks is calm and patient -Has a lot of puppy energy for being 7! -Takes direction very well, comes when he’s called Jacks is ready to bring his loyal heart and playful spirit to a home that will give him the love and care he deserves. Apollo is a lovely 2.5 year old Doberman/Labrador mix. He is a big boy- 85 100 lbs, is neutered and all up-to-date on vaccines. He has had on-leash obedience training with professionals, but still needs work off leash, he is not trained to free-roam around the house but is housebroken & crate trained. He is a very excitable dog who loves to meet new people, but he can use more work staying calm when meeting people (he can excitedly jump upon meeting, so he meets people on leash). He is not aggressive, and has been socialized with other dogs, but not with children/cats. He has high energy, we exercise him often and he is an outside dog during the day in fenced backyard, likes to stay entertained with big dog toys and chews. Home with other dogs or active owners is preferred. Apollo is incredibly sweet and lovable, mostly loves spending time with his owners and taking long walks/runs.
